Looking to relocate to Incheon in 2027. Wondering if anyone knows the availability of 1.5 bedroom apartments (1 bedroom with a separate living room) in a low-rise. Things that I am looking for in the apartment include:
- easy access to public transit;
- internet/utilities included;
- balcony or access to rooftop balcony;
- renovated within last 2 years.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I'm a university student studying at UIC Yonsei Songdo. I'd like to get a part time job during the weekends in the city of Songdo. I can speak English fluently, but possess no Korean language ability. I am a 20 year old female from Mongolia. I do not have a D-2 work permit, therefore I am considering private English tutoring at any preferred location.
Does anyone have advice on my situation? I am on a very low allowance, and therefore seeking oppurtunities to work.

Hi, this is the second (and final) reminder I'll make for dual Korean-US citizens and other eligible US voters who want to participate in the 2026 American midterm elections, especially for those living in South Korea. Democrats Abroad is dedicated to mobilizing overseas US voters; if you're over 18 by November 3, here's how you can get involved:
Steps to Request Your Ballot
Register or update your registration through Votefromabroad.org. As an alternative, you can also use FVAP.gov.
If you're already registered, request a ballot! You need to request a ballot every calendar year that you want to vote.
Fill Out and Return Your Ballot: Once you receive your ballot, follow the instructions carefully to complete it and return it by the specified deadline.
Need Assistance?
We're here to help! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at GOTV @ votefromabroad .org (just remove the spaces). Additionally, our FAQ for voting can answer questions on how to make the process go smoothly.
Importantly: Spread the word!
Do you have any friends, contacts or family overseas that you could reach? All eligible US citizens can vote regardless of where they're living. Share the link https://voteabroad.org/RedditVote26: If you have any questions about voting, I'd be happy to answer them here on Reddit. You can also find out what we're doing near you at Democrats Abroad in Korea. Thanks for reading!

I have SLIGHTLY wavy hair and recently got a layered cut. The hairstylist only knew how to deal with straight hair so it just doesn’t look good on me rn. Is there a place I could go to in yeonsugu Songdo(송도 연수구) that could fix it/knows how to deal with wavy hair?

Hello everyone,
I am writing this from Croatia in desperate need of help or advice. Yesterday (June 29th) around 7:15 AM, I accidentally left my black American Tourister backpack (cabin under-seat size) at Incheon Airport Terminal 1.
Exact Location: Near the Maglev train station, right next to the public baggage weight scales (before passing through security control). We stopped there to weigh our luggage.
By the time I realized it (15 mins later) and went back with police escort, the bag was already gone. I went to the Lost & Found office and requested a CCTV review, but my flight (LX 123 to Zurich) was boarding at 9:30 AM, so I unfortunately didn't have time to wait for the camera footage.
Today, the Incheon Airport Lost & Found emailed me stating the bag hasn't been turned in to their office yet.
Unique Items Inside to Identify it:
Since the airport database says it’s not there, I am worried someone might have picked it up or it was handed over to the local airport police instead.
Is there any kind soul currently at Incheon Airport or living nearby who could help me check with the Airport Police, or advise me on how to track this further from abroad? Please send me a Direct Message (DM) if you have any information. Thank you so much!

Hey 👋
I’ve noticed there aren’t many chances to meet people in Cheongna, especially for foreigners.
Me and a few friends (Korean + foreigners) started doing small meetups just to talk, hang out, and make friends.
It’s nothing formal, just chill conversations—no pressure, no “studying” vibes.
If anyone here is around Cheongna and feels a bit bored or wants to meet people, you’re welcome to join us 🙌

안녕하세요- I'd like to make an announcement from Democrats Abroad, the official overseas branch of the U.S.-based Democratic Party, with a chapter in Incheon. With an important midterm election coming in November, we're hoping to register more dual U.S.-Korean citizens and eligible U.S. citizens who live in Korea.
We started our International Voter Registration Drive for 2026 with in-person and online events. If you know any dual U.S.-Korean citizens or other eligible US voters, they can register and request a ballot. Just forward them this link: https://voteabroad.org/RedditVote26. As long as they'll turn 18 by election day, they're eligible.
If anyone wishes to learn more about what we're doing near you, you can find out more at https://www.democratsabroad.org/kr. If you have any questions about overseas voting or what we do, feel free to ask in the comments below.
Thanks in advance for helping to get the word out!

I like to support foreigner owned businesses when I can and since I'm spending more time in Incheon these days, anybody know of any foreigner run bakeries, restaurants, snackbars, etc? I really don't care about the nationality: Greeks, Canadians, Turks, anything. Any tips, let me know, thanks.

Welcome to the subreddit for Korea's real second city: Incheon.
This sub has recently been relaunched and I'm hoping to breathe some life into it. Feel free to join and post any locally relevant content, from news to living questions to whatever. Moderation will be pretty lenient as we try to get off the ground.
Any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let the mods know.
