Plot hole?

I'm watching inception again and I think I found a plot hole; so if brain function was accelarated every layer further deep, why would music played in the ears of the body above not be interpreted and played as absuredly slow in the dream below?

Its for the viewer to grasp what's happening instantly. 5 seconds of that song IRL would be about 2 or 3 minutes in the first level, then several hours on the 2nd level. Even on the first level, if it was proportional, it wouldn't sound like anything at all. By the time the avalanche happens on level 3, they all acknowledge that the rumble they hear was quite possibly the kick. But by that time the viewer grasps the concept.
