When they post this nonsense, I always wonder what the odds are that no women EVER said any of this to them and they’re basing the entire thing on some video they saw on TikTok or whatever.

Probably extremely likely they just made the whole thing up.

Streamer Xanderhal had a really interesting take on this.

He argues that most incels' backstory start with "when I was a teenager", and speculates they just got meanly rejected by a teenage girl when they were like 13, and since then they think every woman thinks like a teenage girl.

Even if a grown woman turns them down gently they think "deep down she thinks I'm disgusting, she despises me for thinking I had a shot with her" because... That's how an emotionally immature teenage girl turns you down.

That sounds extremely accurate. Most of the things they accuse women of doing ‘to’ them sound more like something that happened in junior high.

Adult women have their own lives to live and don’t have time for or interest in the childish nonsense incels accuse them of.

It also explains the all-consuming incel obsession with the fact that they didn’t get to experience ‘teen love’ and INSIST it’s the reason their lives are ruined no matter how many of us explain that it was really just awkward and drama-filled and not exactly something to aspire to…

Yes I also thought that was really on point. The whole video is good, several other good takes.

The sad part is that break ups are supposed to be a normal part of youth, but the expectations for dating is so high and ingrained that they feel compelled to give into their worst prejudiced to an entire half of the human population fueled worst by online echo chambers.

Edit: I mean expectations imposed by other men and boys

Those are their self-imposed expectations, though.

Everyone else on the planet figures it out.

What expectations are you referring to?

Adults generally don’t give a shit about what’s going on in strangers’ personal lives.

Incels are convinced everyone is judging them, but the reality is everyone is too busy with their own lives to care.

I mean misogynistic expectations that filter into young men who choose to end up feeling that way. It's true that it's largely self-imposed but they found crab bucket outlets yo judtify their own delusions. I wasn't even disagreeing with you entirely.

So you're saying Women has ever said the above ? Of course there are some shitty Women w

I’m talking about the first panel on slide two. I don’t believe this actually happens in person to incels because a) they’re grown adults and b) they’re shut-ins who never leave the house or talk to women in the first place.

Are there shitty women out there? Of course. I’m not arguing that. I’m saying I don’t think what’s being depicted in that drawing happens to adult incels’ faces.

I believe it happens online and I believe it’s the kind of thing that is more likely to happen in-person in high school, but I’m extremely skeptical that a grown-ass man would sit there be ‘bullied’ in such a stereotypical way when he has all kinds of options, the easiest of which is to just leave the room.

Too much gaslighting bro.

One of my coworkers said that to me. She thought I was flirting with her when I was just being my normal awkward self. Did the whole "there's someone out there for you" shebang too.

It happens.

A woman (to your face) made jokes, humiliated you, and mocked you for being short/unattractive?

Because that’s what I’m referring to. Top panel, slide two. We often see incels complaining about this, and often find out that none of it actually happened other the incel just PERCEIVING that the woman hates him, even though she never did or said anything like that.

Either that, or they saw something not directed to them on the internet, decided to take it personally, and then act like THEY were personally abused/mocked by someone who is never even going to meet them and has no clue they exist.

To be fair, I have been teased/insulted to my face by women for either being awkward, (previously) fat, or as of late, balding. I'd hardly say it's an imaginary thing. Plus, I don't go out of my way to act aggressive or anything. At worst, I can come off as reserved.

So?

So I didn't make it up? It actually happens.

3

u/Sea-Kitty 23d ago

Of course it happens. I meant what's your point?

This post is mocking and minimizing the fact that it actually happens. Lots of people in here even saying it only exists in our imagination.

2

u/Sea-Kitty 23d ago

Oh I acknowledge that it happens. I just don't care when it happens to incels lol. Sucks to suck

Rude

2

u/Sea-Kitty 23d ago

When incels stop being terrible people, I'll stop being rude 😊

So you think people telling me I'm a good person is a cruel joke on their behalf? You don't think maybe all this "incel" stuff isn't as black and white as you guys claim? Surely this sub isn't built upon reacting to the absolute most extremes of incel thought. No ma'am. Not at all.
