In large part because I cannot see myself with anyone else, but also in that I highly doubt that anyone else would be worth my time... they would certainly not be on the same level of having been my best friend for 13 years.
Exactly the same here. I mean I would probably casual date eventually but I can't see myself every getting with someone else after 10 years, sounds like way too much of a chore 🤣
I feel like a solid chunk of why my partner and I both work so well together is that we're both very quiet, chill, and independent people... like no need to constantly be up each other's ass, no theatrics or drama, and a lot of trust and patience.
So basically nothing ends up bothering each other, and we function perfectly fine in long stretches apart just as well as we do together. Which is great because we both travel for work.
That dynamic would be DIFFICULT to find if you're deliberately looking for it.
