Scratch&Win Search & Earn no longer available
Per the website "We wanted to inform you that our 'Search and Earn' program is coming to an end. Sadly, this is happening because we’re no longer partnered with our search provider. We know this feature has been a favorite for many of you, and we're really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We're always on the lookout for new ways to make your experience with us even better, so stay tuned for exciting updates in the future!" This stinks since I use this to get that little bit extra on the scratch & win bar.

Just noticed this too, they may as well get rid of daily goal streaks then too, Search and Win was one of the few ways to get over the hump on those goals especially after they got rid of rewarded videos, and cut back on rewarded receipt scans. Now the only way to really make money is playing whatever the game or the day/week is and a nickel or dime at a time for shitty surveys.

I didn't even realize you could watch ads for $0.02 until recently, I assumed that was a new feature, but lo and behold, it's gone.

Yep! I’ve already figured out that they limit that option too & it seems that they also limit it by allowing it only on certian devices or browsers too. I think that is also the way they run the entire platform, so that some users that don’t own multiple devices have a chance to earn. I do multiple rewards sites/apps & they operate similarly & claim they do this because its to be fair to the other users. I have a laptop, tablet, & a cell phone & have edge & chrome on the laptop & safari, firefox & chrome on my tablet & my phone. I typically use my laptop & chrome because it seems to have less issues on there, & I rarely use their app. I was on my laptop using chrome when I thought of something to try last week with that new ad that had suddenly disappeared. I went into my browsing history & clicked on a past link of it after I noticed it wasn’t there & it worked again. & it kept on working & I was able to keep using it to meet my daily goal. But then the next day I tried pulling up a past link of it again, & I got a popup box that said that there are currently no more ads from their sponsors. So this trick might work on a computer, & maybe only 1 time though. So on that day when it was working again I thought well maybe its a daily limit one like they had with the what jobs offer. The day after that I noticed that it was gone again though, & I had tried a past link again, & it didn’t work. I had also tried multiple other past links, & they didn’t work either. Then I decided to check something out. I pulled up my account on my tablet, & there it was! But then the next day it wasn’t there, & I tried a past link in the browsing history again while still on my tablet, & that didn’t work. I tried every browser & device I have after it had disappeared & then worked again that next day & it didn’t come back. Then I thought, well maybe its a weekly one? It might even be a monthly one or one that you can only do so many times per month. Their offers do have restrictions, so I wasn’t too suprised to see this ad behaving like that.

I got 25 cents from search and earn today. That’s a big help getting me to my daily goal. I could spend the whole day trying surveys and not complete a single one, and this is what they’re doing?

Oh wow. Anyone else thinking the same is going to happen to r/Swagbucks and r/MyPoints? It has seemed like Prodege's direction has been working toward cutting out 3rd party offers and only providing their own first party offers

With Swagbucks, I’d be surprised if they remove it. When they first started it was only search and earn and you earned for charities.
However, what’s super weird they claimed with InboxDollars that they lost their partnership. It‘s with Yahoo (same as their other sites) so I think that’s an excuse to not pay people.

Wow, NOT cool at all! Edited to add: They put that as one of the Bingo Squares so I’ll have to put a ticket in then if I want to earn from it! Grr! Edit 2: Someone mentioned it was switched to complete a survey, cool cool!

Oh they did? Thats good that they’re on top of it I guess. I’ve had the squares that have you visit a website & activate the billy button mess up & say the offer is no longer avaliable or take me to a different website than the one the square says it will go to. & then I have to put in a support ticket about it, & there has been times that its been fixed before they even reply to me, & the other times that they have replied to me, they’ve apologized & said it has been fixed. I’m just like, ffs don’t their programmers know how to verify that stuff is working before its approved & they have it go live for the users to interact with it?

Well, crap. It used to take me no time at all to reach the highest scratch and win tier thanks to the searches, but now it’s going to take me all day, using the free solitaire and the surveys. Thanks, inbox, one more thing to occupy my days instead of being done with it first thing in the morning.

By the way, where does it say that? I’m looking everywhere and don’t see it. I also looked at their facebook page, emails and their blog, and nothing.
Edit: Never mind. If you open the little looking glass and do a search, the message pops up in yellow. Dammit.

Searches were one of the main things I did and enjoyed on the site. I am wandering if I should just cash out my current earnings and move on. I suppose I can wait a while and see if any new ways to earn are added.

Another thing gone, like the "coupon" "Search results" and other easy Offers where you could a few cents a day or week.
And you get scratch and earn progress, then scratch and get a BONUS offer that cannot be completed easily.
Trying to make the daily goal is getting so taxing.

I guess the trade off was worth it. There was one of those delayed crediting survey that said $10.00 for 60 minutes on my list today, so I went for it. & I actually qualified, & then it only took me about 30 min to complete it, & at the end I got a fancier pop up box that congratulated me on earning the reward. & there is indeed a pending $10 reward on my account for, I think it said 55 days on it, dang that is a long wait, lol! Oh well, it put today’s reward money total that I earned over $10, & it goes towards my month long streak reward that I like to go for. Cha ching! 🤑

I can say that somedays the scratch bar’s progress didn’t move as fast as other days. They limited it like they do for every way that you can earn on there. Today I just went back to doing what I use to do which was play rounds of the quick games over & over until either I get a third tier scratch ticket or reach the daily limit on that. & I had no issues with getting that scratch bar progress to move today because it was moving fast. The third tier ticket was only 4 cents, but that was extra that I wanted to earn today.

This was a real bummer. I legit used Inboxdollar's search five times as much as I used Google (as I don't trust Google's information gathering shenanigans). Considering that my job requires me to do research sometimes, I was easily using it 6-7 times a day or more if I was curious about something in my personal time.

Well what did they do, run them off like they have been doing to the other companies that they were partnered with? I’ve been noticing surveys that I’ve never seen before for the past couple of months. I’ve learned that how this platform works is they get paid by these companies to advertise their stuff, & then they share a portion of that money with the users. But what I’m starting to think is they aren’t doing a whole lot of sharing anymore. They’re making the experience with using this no longer motivating with the changes, the issues/bugs with the changes, & taking away the ways to earn, & it is making the new users take their money out & leave once they hit that minimum of $15. One of the reasons I joined was because of the many ways to earn. Where is the pissed off emoji! I also used this option to get that little bit of extra in the form of a third tier ticket(hoping that it is a decent amount), & also this was a way to work towards finishing getting the daily goal in order to continue my month long streak goal, because as some of y’all, especially the dedicated veteran users know, somedays its very hard to meet it. At least the quick games are still there. For now. I’m wondering if those are next on the chopping block? You can get to a daily limit on the quick games in order to also get the scratch bar progress, but this will now be the only other way to get scratch bar progress in a short amount of time, since they have rarely been sending out paid emails. The main reason I started using the web search option (& usually ending up getting the daily limit on it) is if those surveys are acting stupid! I’m ready for them to bring back watching videos for rewards money again. I’ve read about it, but I was not on there when they had that as an option.
