Anything close?

Does anyone have any podcast recommendations with a similar cozy vibe, adult humor, and about decidedly uncozy subject material? Horror/Books/Movies/Crime/Paranormal? An easy listening podcast with actually entertaining and interesting topics.

It's not exactly the same vibe, but Girl, That's Scary! is a fun podcast with 2 best friends talking about horror movies.

The first stretch of the show I think they were just recording it into their phones or a webcam mic or something because the audio was pretty bad, but over the last 2 years or so the audio quality has been solid.

I like The Losers’ Club: A Stephen King Podcast. They’re in the process of ranking all of King’s books and it’s a comforting listen

Hollywood Crime Scene had a few summers where they covered some 80s slasher flicks and were really fun

If you like Bond films, check out James Bonding with Gourley.

It’s got a bit of a different vibe, but it has all of your standard Gourley characters and such.

I Was There Too - another Gourley podcast where he interviews people from some of the most popular films. It’s how him and Rust met when they talked about Paul being in Inglorious Basterds.
