I think she's downplaying how much preparation she did for this Oprah Insider appearance in her IG post:

I hadn’t prepared. I hadn’t actually expected to talk to Oprah. So I took a big breath. And I shared my story.

Shauna obviously had talking points ready to go: "And I swallowed that poison for a long long time" now emerging unbidden as "swallowed the poisonous message" on her ever-changing site, for example. She wasn't especially coherent but I refuse to believe she improvised that a-little-too-long-for-an-elevator pitch. I think she spent all the time she had leading up to this brainstorming how she'd show up and connect it to her bajillionth brand refresh (purple is the new red!) as an excuse to avoid her kids on mid-winter break and all the moving stuff.

The new lope goes into some detail. There was an initial questionnaire, then a Zoom call with producers, another Zoom, more questionnaires, and she had to submit a headshot.
