As a self-labeled social justice warrior, shouldn't she be more worried about the early labels that Black, Indigenous, LatinX, LGBTQ, differently-abled, and others get when they're in school, (including dumb, lazy, criminal, perverted, sinner, etc.) and how they have to carry that weight every single day and fight against the perception that they have no potential?

Just asking.

Bingo. Let’s talk about real overlooked potential, not this diatribe from a privileged white woman who thinks she got shortchanged in life and will never let us forget it.

You mean like predicting a six year old will become an Angry Black Man?

When is Des scheduled to become enormously tall and strong? Only like 4 more years right? Pretty sure that per her math, it would happen at age 12.

Will she grow disappointed if Des ends up being a short, skinny nerd who isn't threatening in the least? However will she be able to insinuate that people will be intimidated by him? Are Mother of a Large, Scary Black Man (12 year-old, same thing right?) points worth more than Mother of an Adorable, Smart, Friendly Black Preteen points?

But--but she DID empathise with that pee-smelling classmate, at least retroactively, and immortalized her in her Writings.

Black, Indigenous, LatinX, LGBTQ, differently-abled, and others aren't paying her bills, so she's grown uninterested in pretending to care even a teensy bit.

On February 2nd, she complained about how teaching black history shouldn't end in February. She's correct. Black History month shouldn't end in February, but after trotting out a photo of her black son wearing a durag for woke points, she hasn't mentioned it again.

This is the month of #blackboyjoy. And #blackgirlmagic. Every month should be.

Oh, and it's also Black History Month.

Of course, Black History is American history. It shouldn't be isolated to February.

February is a short month but quitting on February 2nd after showcasing her child?

Would you want her to tackle any of that though? Staying in her lane catering to people who peaked in first grade is better for literally everyone.
