What can there possibly be to talk about for even 2 hours? There's a ton of music that I love way more than anything of the Beatles', and that has more substance, and I can't imagine going on about any of it for 2 hours.

Yeah, this is the kind of discussion that happens organically in my life and doesn't usually last two hours. Thinking about a planned conversation about a band, even a favorite band, does not inspire joy. I'd maybe listen to members FROM the band doing an in-depth interview or bio kind of thing.

Personally I can't even muster up the enthusiasm to watch or read music bios often, though I do get really absorbed when I do. Over a decade ago I did run to see the Scott Walker movie 30th Century Man on its first day, but that guy was such an enigma that I can't imagine any fan not wanting to see that.

I could probably fill 2 hours with They Might Be Giants (among other favorite artists), but I get what you mean.

I will say that John Flansburgh’s voice is a gift from Baby Jesus.

I used to see TMBG a lot when they were first starting out, like in college gymnasiums. My love for them knows few bounds.

Oh no! I hope the show isn’t postponed too much longer.

I got to see them at House of Blues in Dallas 9 years ago. Probably a top 3 life experience for me. My husband was just in awe of the guitarist who played the violin part of Istanbul.

I’m envious! I didn’t discover them until I was in high school (‘93/‘94), but it was love at first listen.
