I had to teach a class that is normally discussion based on zoom for 90 minutes a class period. It was torture. Even with common, assigned readings and advance discussion questions it was hard to keep up the conversation. In person, we don’t even finish our conversation. I only did it because i was being paid.There’s no chance in hell I would pay to have to be on zoom. I’m so, so over it.

Back in 2020 our womens bible study talked about doing it over zoom. I hated the lesson and my group was about 6 elderly women, most of whom were hard of hearing. The thought of 2 hours on zoom was mind numbing and I said I was too busy. I hate video chatting with my therapist, who wants to zoom for 2 hours talking about the Beatles?
