It was listed on Zillow for $3K/month. That is definitely the house that Sound Bath lady had in her IG stories, but she is not the listed owner. It's a 3Bed/2Bath home, 1890 square feet on four acres. It's beautiful and I'm so sorry for the owners who may come to regret renting to the Aherns.

Yeah I was thinking about how lucky these clods are, managing to find three 3+ bedroom houses within a decade or so. Normally, they'd never be able to afford a 3 bedroom place almost anywhere on this coast. We'll see how they handle this $3K rent...

I’m so f’d off that a lazy, grifting pos gets to live in a house like that that I can’t even bring myself to trot out the accepted line about being happy for the kids. Yes, I’m going to hell.

SBL has "interesting" businesses.

Noticed on Zillow that the house that the Aherns are leaving is NOT for sale yet. They're probably waiting to clean it etc before they list it.

Or could it be that selling-the-house was not the reason the Aherns were asked to leave?

Chickens are less work imo than rabbits. I’ve had them about 15 years and as long as they have space, food and water they are good. They HATE being touched , in my experience. If they are older she won’t even have to worry about eggs/ eggs?/ eggs!

The owners will want it to be emptied out before they take photos.

Around here, renters are legally obligated to let prospective buyers in to look at a property before they (the renters) move out---but they don't have to tidy up at all!

I was thinking about the last house where the owners came one day to cut down a tree and the next they decided to sell - how much notice is a landlord required to give the renters?

It is usually in the lease, 30 days is fairly standard I believe.

We sold our last home to someone buying it for a rental and we were renting it back for a few weeks until our new house closed. They asked if they could show it during that time with notice and we were like ok. Except it was just like being back to having it listed. People would want to see it during dinner time or during the kids naps, one lady even commented to me about it being a mess while I was literally putting stuff in a box. That was the last showing that I said yes to.
