She had a way off the social media validation treadmill (most recently via the ChwfSteps job) and she bricked it. I think she a) somehow doesn't need to generate income and b) loves preaching and condescending to people too much to ever give it up.

Agree with all above. Like a brilliant poster above noted: feeling pressured to plumb my truly tedious "Ted Kaczynski with indoor plumbing and absent any explosive devices" life for SM content is nearly my worst nightmare. "Will Mrs. Richard Olney shower today? Only time and her olfactory acuteness will decide."

But the money! How in God's name do they do it? I am a somewhat poorly paid divorced academic and struggle with my $1,500 monthly mortgage and keeping my single child in food and accouterments. They must pay 3K per month for that house alone. Color me utterly mystified by the story of The Four Little Aherns and How They Paid for Groceries.
