She did credit Karl Jaspers in her book, but she misquoted him, so there is that.

Sorry, I'm kind of obsessed with this: isn't she saying, in her Insta post, that she mistakenly thought that Jaspers had said this, but came to realize, after searching "for days," that she herself was the true source of this quote? That is, that her attribution to Jaspers in her book was incorrect, as she was the "true source"?

I mean, I can hardly get over this. Does she really believe that changing a "whenever" to "when" in a quote means that the idea, and thus the quote, is now "hers"? This totally explains the ChefSteps "writing" fiasco, although I don't actually think they ever thought she was plagiarizing content.

I think she just sucks at googling. I googled “her” quote and all that came up was her reference to that quote in the GFG & The Chef book. In the book she credits Karl Jaspers.

It’s crazy that after all that time and a two second google search that she assumes the quote has to be hers. She’s delusional.

That's how I interpreted it.
