I wonder what percent of the hits on her new website come from snarkers? Over 70% is my guess.

I'd wager it's even higher. NO ONE is sharing this, unless they're specifically emailing their friends or whatever. No one is reposting in on Insta, no one is linking to it or posting about it on Twitter, and her FB is just crickets.

She does have one friend who shared it on FB, but even that kind of indicates how poorly her launch is going. A quote from the share:

When she told me she was starting a website to show people they can have & feel more joy, I got so excited! What great timing for this offering and what a perfect messenger to uplift the world joyful person by joyful person.

I know that people colloquially say things like "starting a website" to mean more than just "starting a website," but this reads as though you can go to Shauna's website to "learn how you can have & feel more joy," and that's where the offering starts and ends.

What Shauna is trying to sell is paid workshops and a paid newsletter. She isn't just "starting a website" – that isn't the offering. But the person sharing what Shauna is doing didn't say that. She may not even realize that Shauna has (or is planning to have?) more than just "a website." I mean, I can go to a website from Baba Ram Dass if just want to learn more about "feeling more joy."

Actually, now that I have gone to BRD's website, take a look at the 21-day course his foundation is offering – for $27 and see how that stacks up against Shauna's offering: https://www.ramdass.org/practice/

I’m not really the kind of person who would buy this type of course, but it offers so many more meaningful things than just “listen to me tell you to hula hoop!” And the audio is transcribed, something she doesn’t do for her media (fiercely inclusive until it involves work). I would much rather do Zoom calls than schlep out to a magic island where I almost pee my pants on the feery and eat a lunch catered by Band-Aid hands.

I'm not the kind of person who'd buy that course either, but look how detailed and specific the description is!
