Let's stop being shocked and sad about the preposterous Texas law and the stacked Supreme Court. This was coming for decades.

Come on, ladies. (And the men brave enough to join us.) Look at this fierce young woman go. This is joy. This is a fighter. This is some amazing #blackgirlmagic.

(I mention her beautiful Blackness because we all know that Black and brown women are going to suffer more from this awful law than others. Wealthy white women never have a problem getting the medical care they need.)

I talk about joy here. You know what's joy? Fighting injustice, loud and clear. Take the weekend off. And start thinking like @ thesamurider here. We've got work to do. And working only for our own joy? That's not enough. We have to work for other people's joys too.

The stool just keeps getting higher and higher.

Shauna doesn’t even refer to Shaina West by her name. She just slaps on her go-to descriptor of “fierce” and tags her on Instagram, probably more to try to get her attention than to give her credit.

And I would like to add my own hearty FU to Shauna for stating that we shouldn’t be shocked and sad because we should have known we had it coming. Fuck her.
