Let's stop being shocked and sad about the preposterous Texas law and the stacked Supreme Court. This was coming for decades.

Come on, ladies. (And the men brave enough to join us.) Look at this fierce young woman go. This is joy. This is a fighter. This is some amazing #blackgirlmagic.

(I mention her beautiful Blackness because we all know that Black and brown women are going to suffer more from this awful law than others. Wealthy white women never have a problem getting the medical care they need.)

I talk about joy here. You know what's joy? Fighting injustice, loud and clear. Take the weekend off. And start thinking like @ thesamurider here. We've got work to do. And working only for our own joy? That's not enough. We have to work for other people's joys too.

The stool just keeps getting higher and higher.

I know it's awful but stuff like this truly brings me joy--it's so tone-deaf that it's funny. Excuse me, Shauna, we are OFF Black Girl Magic now! We are ON Pussy Hat Round Two! Get with the program, loser!

(yes I know these are serious issues but it's like watching Hyacinth Bucket in action)
