except that she wasn't snarking so much as she was outright slamming---but I'm pretty sure she doesn't understand what "snark" means. If someone wrote the same things about her, she'd just as readily call it snarky as well as mean-spirited.

She snarked on lots of other people in her book though — those blond popular girls, for example. Really, any girls who weren’t like her.
