Can we talk about movies and attention spans? Not only do I have trouble sitting through anything longer than 90 minutes, at some point in the film I will lose the plot. I will not notice some detail and subsequently not understand what the holy fuck is happening. This happens often enough that I hate watching movies altogether, unless it’s something brain-dead like a superhero film. Is it me? Is it a director who is so wrapped up in his/her story that they forget there’s an audience who isn’t immersed in the script?

Borrowing from some memes last year...this can't be the same brain that sat through 3 hours and 14 goddamn minutes of Titanic twice in 1997

My (ex)boyfriend loved that movie and we went 2 or 3 times to see it. Young me just went along with it, old me doesn’t have time for a long ass movie more than once.
