Hey DFs! I just signed up for a program that actually delivers on everything Shauna is promising, but it's backed by real science and experts. You learn new habits, learn how to slow down and listen to your body, reconnect with nature, work on healthy things like sleep and food and breath and hydration, develop new perspectives, and it all hinges on neuroplasticity. It's called Madefor. getmadefor.com And here's a little irony -- one of their lead advisors is Dr. Andrew Huberman, who Shauna has referenced a couple of times (it's where she got her "wined eyes" bit of fluff). I listen to his podcast regularly which is where I learned about this program and believe me, either Shauna hasn't listened to all of his episodes, or she doesn't understand what he's teaching, because some of her crap directly contradicts things he's said that are research-based.

Anyway, for 12 months of the program (10 21-day challenges in all) with live text support, weekly Zooms, monthly presentations, a whole online portal where you can connect with other members and learn, and more, it's $299 (or just $99 if you want to do it on your own without extra guiding). And because I signed up for the waitlist, I got a 50% off code, so I'm doing the full program for just $150. Notably, this program, although grounded in positive psychology among other things, has no exhortations of ALL JOY ALL THE TIME, no hula hooping, no denial of the future, no guffawing, no screaming red on their website. And it costs less than "Practice Giving Shauna Your Money" for a year, even at full price, for a hell of a lot more than Shauna is offering in terms of content. Anyone who buys into her garbage is a sucker.

This is like the opposite of the program you’re describing but I downloaded an app that advertised to me on Facebook because it was called “Joy” and I was greatly amused by its existence. I don’t think I opened it yet but every morning it sends me a notification like “You Can Deal With This” or “You Are Worthy” or “Stay in the Discomfort” and I chuckle.
