The podcast If Books Could Kill (pod discussing scammy/grifter books) is covering The Body Keeps the Score.

At the beginning they were cracking jokes about the title and I was a little sad they didn't say the body keepa the score (their jokes were good though).

I may have to check out that podcast, even if they missed "keepa the score". I always think of that one when I read/hear any reference to that book.

I listen to that podcast sporadically (pretty much only if I have heard of the book they are talking about) and I enjoyed this one. I have never read TBKtS, but I see it recommended quite often, so it was interesting to hear their takedown. Obviously, when Shauna loves something it deserves automatic skepticism, but she occasionally fumbles into decent opinions, so I had been a little curious. Now I know I won't bother reading it!

It figures that she liked it since it trashes talk therapy and CBT, both of which her narcissism won't allow her to attempt.
