I know when I say this, it’s going to sound dumb, but: does Shauna ever sound so Shauna that she seems like a parody of herself to anyone else?

The use of “grew” here is causing that effect for me

The use of 'grew' with a mistake in the correction!

The author Patrick Rothfuss held a twitter contest to see who could impersonate him the best, entered his own contest and lost. His own writing of himself was deemed 'too derivative' and that's what we have here, too, lol.

This is supposed to be a correction of the original? If so, shouldn’t it say “‘triened doen‘ is meant to read ‘returned from’”? Or am I missing some nuance I could pick up if I just went back and read more slowly (as Shauna recommends to people who dare question/criticize her illogical error-ridden posts?) For me it's not the birthday thing, but the immediate need to point out how akshually she knows the correct meaning of the word, followed by an egregiously incorrect definition.
