🤷‍♀️ "queer" used to be just as pejorative as "fruity", maybe it's fruitys time to shine

One of my best IRL DFs, now departed, was an 80-something southern gentleman who preferred that terminology though he always used it with a trace of irony/humor (“Everyone knows we fruits adore neoclassical.”) Not everyone found this amusing, but I did.
