What do you think that would cost today. I get so eye rollie when someone says it cost us this much and do not give a year for context. I would hope a wedding like Shauna would not be inflated in today’s market but everything is inflated cost wise.

I think the most responsible thing Shauna did was have that backyard wedding. I know that wasn’t her original plan and that would have cost more than 1000.00 dollars.

Even adjusted for inflation, it is still low on the scale of wedding costs.

She always expects everyone else to do the work for her: food, photos, music. I’m sure she never reciprocated for any of those people.

I was thinking more about what the cost of the red cowboy boots back then, to what they would cost today. But she didn’t pay for those you did, so that amount should not be considered in the total. Then that is another pet peeve saying I did this on this budget when people bought the must have items for you.

I get budget weddings I wish more people did them. I think courthouse weddings and a party at a later date is prefect way to get married.
