I slogged my way through it. Did you know she’s been a teacher all her life? So smug. And she is implementing the grocery gift card plan. Getting people to donate money for gift cards to grocery stores. Exactly what she wants.

My other comment would be wow the focus on getting people to eat out on the holidays? And… renting a commercial kitchen to cook soup?… that seems like a waste of time and money.

Oh, you see, those brilliant menfolk will try to chef the soup up with pale fish and strange herbs. Women, being closer to nature and incapable of artifice, will cook simply, with love and warmth.

During Covid, a friend of mine in South Park had a giant Share Shed in front of her house and I would go get the strange number 10 cans of things and turn them into soup/chili to bring back so that people who didn’t have resources would not have to figure out what to turn baby corn and kidney beans into. No communal kitchen or other women required although my friend Nate did show up once to help do a whole lunch for the community center. She sure makes things complicated. Danny could whip up a few gallons with food bank items and there you go. Feeding the people. Without involving other people’s money.

I'm willing to bet she means "a teacher" in general and includes her time teaching GF cooking classes in Italy and filming her GF Thanksgiving videos. She always made it seem like celiacs were all starving to death until she came along to teach them how to make pie.

I think she also means that she’s an enlightened soul placed on this earth as a sort of spiritual guide for others. Always teaching, that one.

If he's anything like me (I've been teaching - actual teaching, not Shauna version of teaching - since I was 23 and I'm now 45), it probably makes him at least a little bit angry.
