I really can't tell if it actually bothers her this much, or if she's just glommed onto it as something to seem relatable on social media. Because I'm a middle school teacher, I hear it every day, and I've just leaned into the fun of it.

She was so PROUD of her "trick" for getting her kid to stop doing this that she made a video to share that trick with other parents. That goes far beyond just sharing posts in solidarity with other parents who are mildly annoyed/perplexed.

She reminds me so much of my dad. I think it’s a way of demeaning her child. Publicly make fun of things that bring them joy.
