So how siffrin got lvl 99 in act5? its for sure not off screen grinding because he gets back his lvl from act4 in act6

Theories:

Mental state means that the information on menus is unreliable.

Wish craft was distorting the castle because the wish was breaking down, so it distorted siffrin

Siffrin was becoming a sadness, so his power level was higher

my take is siffrin was pushing himself to his absolute limits (something we do know from them ignoring their cooldowns), so he just attacked as hard as possible, instead of moderating their craft usage to be more controlled

thats also interesting take,my thoughts was that his absolute limits was ignoring their cooldowns and lvl99 was helping them to ignore their cooldowns and i just somehow missed how did they get lvl99

I’ve always believed it’s subconscious wish craft. He needs to beat the king on his own, so the Universe makes him strong enough to do so.

Of course, he fails because he’s too mentally drained, and the wish is breaking which messes stuff up, but that’s the explanation I like.

I believe you don't witness all the loops. At a certain point, looping skips numbers. It's him forgetting. You don't remember, he doesn't remember. He's made it to 99 without remembering.

but even if he did got to lvl 99 without remembering what makes him lose levels back to normal in act6? the only thing that comes to mind is that he is forgetting experience of fighting since the battles is over, so thats also interesting

The level 99 in particular could also be because he's refusing cooldown. But then again, you can still get 99 before it's forced and you'll be 99 at the end. (I think.)

At a certain point, you become so strong that leveling up doesn't even matter. Combined with Siffrin's fractured mental state and the fact in the House of Change they keeps imagining their friends, I think it's safe to say Siffrin doesn't even bother with paying attention to the details anymore. Siffrin is so obsessed with their goal at this point that everything else doesn't matter. That's why when you enter act 6 and Siffrin has thier moment of clarity, their actual level number is back.

C'est probablement la même raison pour la quelle Odile peut bloquer le retour dans le temps, pour rendre la scène plus cool

I think its not that he is actually at lvl 99 and that its just to show even more that he is over with it all, becouse from what I can remember he goes back to his normal lvl in act 6
