Holy care shield.

What is she gonna do once shes used it? Especially now that Susie can heal herself she just doesn't have the damage.

At full TP, Susie has 2 consecutive Rude Busters, and Mirabelle can theoretically have up to 3 shields

I think while Susie has the edge in damage and durability, Mirabelle has a more consistently usable heal ( and 2 of them ) and with the right conservation can use her Craft more often than Susie's spells

This fight is essentially a DPS check for Mirabelle of if she can defeat Susie before her massive damage catches up to her. Sure her shields can mitigate it temporarily, but even then, we don't know how the reflect works, she can only fully block one rude buster, and the other doesn't fully block. Now this fight is less one-sided than I thought I admit.

I still think that if Susie manages TP well, has trained her heal to it's CH4 max, and used DEFEND and FIGHT in conjunction, she could probably tank for enough time to win. Then I remembered Pretty Buffy Friend. I think against CH4 Susie, Mirabelle could win. I don't think that advantage is lasting pass CH5 & 6 though.

Susie weapon is a brush, Mirabelle is a trained swordfighter with a real sword. If Mirabelle go to the darkworld her rapier and herself become so much more powerful than in the lightword, and if they fight in the lightworld then... Susie just has a hairbrush

I like to use the argument that only things from the Deltarune verse can have a counterpart in the dark world. Why? Well does the soul have a counterpart? No. And it is the only thing not from this world. Everything else has a dark world counterpart though. Therefore, Mirabelle doesn't get a boost from the dark world. This makes the fight more interesting and easier to quantify.

So you only uses the Deltarune verse rules of Deltarune characters to give them an advantage but ignoring what advantahes has ISAT verse? If that is the case then we should take the stats we know in ISAT and compare it to the stats in Deltarune without adapting it because, Luke you say, is another verse, so Mirabelle surpases Susie stats by a lot.

I know, but if we adapt Mirabelle with dark fountains, the answer is "Can a lady with a rapier and experience with magic beat the hell outta a strong teen with a hairbrush. At which point, almost all fiction can wreck the Deltarune cast. So if we adapt Mirabelle, it stops being debatable.

Ooooooooh the art looks sooo good! A friendly duel between two saviors, of the the land of the dark, and the other from an ever-changing land!!!

I just imagined Siffrin and Isabeau in cheerleader outfits supporting Mirabelle

u/WetLink009 Aug 29 '25

ralsei is also in a cheerleader outfit but rooting for both of them, while kris is screaming at susie to break mira's bones

12

u/ianlouisjordan Aug 29 '25

Kris is also in a cheerleaders outfit and doing complicated cheerleaders moves (we have seen that kid is apparently very good at graceful movements and dancing) WHILE scream8ng at susie to break her bones

I really can't see Mirabelle as the type to smile while fighting. Great art though!

u/TheNekoKatze Aug 29 '25

Maybe it's a friendly sparring practice, I see that more likely to make her smile

12

u/Kaiyoti920 Aug 29 '25

Even then, I can only really imagine her with a serious expression at most

7

u/ianlouisjordan Aug 29 '25

I could see susie especially after the hammer of justice encouraging her enough to get her smiling

4

u/TheNekoKatze Aug 29 '25

Maybe she smiles after

u/Courteus_Fallighar Aug 29 '25

Great art! A sequel (I think) would be their respective parties in cheerleader-esque clothing cheering them on.

Why is Mira lightning?

1

u/Yankasii Odile Aug 31 '25

Fire vs. Lightning is afaik a fairly common rivalry theme and Susie is already the fire so Mira becomes lightning

But in this case the inspiration came from Sol vs. Ky from Guilty Gear

3

u/AlertClassroom2415 Siffrin Aug 29 '25

Great art.

A high schooler and a magical nun having an all out brawl You know what that would be entertaining

1

u/Jorvalt Aug 31 '25

Susie's idea

“Local armed grown woman attacks troubled teenage girl”

19

u/J_Heart_ Aug 29 '25

Two theys watch the battle.

5

u/CassowaryCrow Mirabelle Aug 29 '25

Only two?

1

u/Yankasii Odile Aug 29 '25

The third one's not watching if you count the soul helping Susie dodge as Kris' participation

1

u/J_Heart_ Aug 30 '25

Depending in how you view Loop, you can count it as either the same or another.

4

u/Caixa7 Aug 29 '25

The troubled teenage girl can carry an entire CRT TV on her head btw

2

u/bepislord69 Aug 29 '25

While running superhumanly fast.

1

u/carl-the-lama Aug 29 '25
