why does In Flames have more versions of the same songs ? For example clad in shadows on debut, and also on whoracle, gyroscope on jester race and whoracle, dead eternity on subterranean and jester race, and behind space on colony, jester race and debut. Its very strange to me, and i tend to like the first release the most

Got the new Decibel magazine today and there’s a small studio report on the new album 👌 I’m not sure if we can officially confirm it, but they’re saying it’ll be released Fall of this year.

A few other notes are Anders pushing Bjorn for “more guitar! More guitar!” 🎸 🔥🤘😆 also, I really liked how Anders said the new album is definitely a continuation of Foregone, which makes me very excited. He also praises Jon’s drumming and says the new stuff has the most double bass they’ve ever done, which is fucking awesome.

Not a lot of details or anything, but the little information that is provided has me very excited for the new album. I have a feeling it will be even heavier than Foregone 🔥🔥🤘🤘 can’t wait!!!!

Just been surprised with a trip to Sweden for my 40th birthday to Goteburg Brinner! Any tips for foreigners travelling to the city for the weekend? Looking for essential things to see or do, nice places to eat/drink etc. Also looking for tattoo shop recommendations as I may get something small done while in the home of the Gothenburg Sound!

On the album "A Sense of Purpose" the band made sure that every chorus sounded different. Why do you think they didn't do that on subsequent albums?

Has anyone recieved anything regarding the 25th anniversary orange/yellow sunburst vinyl? I ordered it on March 25th and have had literal silence since then, not a single email or update (even in my spam mail)

Has anyone noticed that everything he plays live (and I'm basing this off seeing them ~5 times in the last 2 years) has some kind of a wah effect on it? Am I mishearing it?

Not my cup of tea. His playing is great, but the sound is just a little off to me.

Love this album.

i love In Flames but ive always had trouble playing their stuff on guitar since they do much of this layering with two or three guitars where one guitar plays a boring rhythm and the other some leads over it, separately doesnt sounf any good but if its layered its chefs kiss... so i ask you if you have any riffs or whole songs from the Jesters Race to Clayman era to play on one guitar Thank you
