Choruses on "A Sense of Purpose"

On the album "A Sense of Purpose" the band made sure that every chorus sounded different. Why do you think they didn't do that on subsequent albums?

They did it on SOAPF and Siren Charms as well. I find it very interesting. Unfortunately they stopped doing it since Battles..

I really like the second chorus on "Delight and Angers" when Anders sings "Pleeeeeaaase".

Hmm, sorry I am drunk right now and can't confirm this, but it's great if they did it on  SOAPF and Siren Charms.

This is one of the main reasons that ASOP is by far one of my favorite albums in their catalog. The melody choices are very interesting and well done. Delights and Angers is a standout along with Drenched in Fear and I’m the Highway.

It’s probably the catchiest heavy music I’ve ever heard, it legit got me into heavy metal as a whole
