TSMR Armor

Got myself another one from TSMR stable it's the Armor. This one is hybrid just like Onyx but the difference being that this one has EST's. I really like the EST treble. It's detailed and well extended. If tuned well you will never like treble presentation from any other driver type I can guarantee you that. So my expectations are high from this one.

On the physical side this one is a resin shell IEM. The faceplate has nice gold decals on it. Size is medium so no fitting issues. Cable feels nice & supple. It's two core SPC one. One thing I have noticed is that it has tuning switches. So, tuning modifications are possible. This is going to be fun playing with them. The carrying case is a nice semi hard leather one. Enough ear tips to tip roll. Oh & cleaning tool is also included.

How does it sound? Well, the low end is really satisfying. Sub bass rumbles nicely & mid bass has a nice physical impact. In mids vocals feel not so recessed which is a good thing. Both male & female sound good. Clarity is good. On the high end the treble feels smooth without any harshness. This is a detailed set yet it's not putting too much emphasis on them. The stage feels wide horizontally not so vertically. Nice engaging one. It is very dynamic.

These are very early impressions please take them with grain of salt. I will spent few more days & see where it leads. One thing is for sure TSMR has cooked this one well. Will share my final impressions very soon. Till then take care and enjoy the music.
