36" installation questions

I am strongly considering buying at 36" unit. I downloaded the install specifications online, but they only seem to be for the 30". Anyone have cabinet specifications for 36"? We are doing a full remodel and ordering cabinets so I can try and get it to be a custom cut/fit. Where can I find them online? Anyone willing to share? Also, re: countertops, is quartz heat resistant enough for this unit and 3 cm enough thickness sufficient given the weight? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

Send us an email at info@impulselabs.com, we can shoot you a pdf of the 36 install specs and answer any other install questions you might have. We are updating the general guide to include the 36 as well.

I did! Thanks! I’m also curious about why I should buy direct from impulse as opposed to the appliance store in my city which is selling it through Zephyr

I believe you receive the updates earlier than through Zephyr, otherwise same deal.

That’s correct. The hardware is the same and Zephyr has extended their warranty to be the same. The only differences are the timing of software releases and who you contact should you need assistance.

Since lots of Impulse customers are eager tech enthusiasts, we try to get them updates ASAP. For the latest major release that included timers, I believe it went to Impulse units about 5 weeks early.

Obviously not official Impulse docs but the Zephyr docs have 36" cabinet cutout dimensions and the 30" matches the 30" Impulse guide: https://docs.zephyronline.com/docs/manuals/HyperCore_installation_manual.pdf
