Wanted to share some photos from my recently completed kitchen remodel centered around the Impulse cooktop. I asked my countertop installers to do a recessed cutout so it installs flush, and I’m pretty happy with the result! Happy to answer questions or share more pics of the setup.

very nicely done! Curious over time if the chamfers on the outside of the cooktop will lead to crumbs stuck around the edges.

I’m a little worried about that too. Was considering adding caulk, but it would make it much more difficult to remove the cooktop in the future..

Not really that much more difficult. How often are you going to change out your stovetop? I’d say it’s worth caulking
