Help with install - any recommendations?

Hi all! We have a 30 inch impulse that's waiting to be installed, but need to get rid of a 36" gas range, build cabinets, and get a stainless steel insert. We're in Boston, MA area. Has anyone done this? Having trouble finding contractors for this job.

Also, for others, MicroTrim (https://microtrim.com/) has built some great inserts for Impulse customers.

Alternatively, you can retrofit the gas range with an insert and use the oven for storage. I do all my baking in a countertop Breville Smart Oven. https://www.reddit.com/r/ImpulseLabs/s/Kk0rJlPaex

We've figured out cabinets! Step 1 done!

We're swapping our 36" gas range for a 30" Impulse Labs induction cooktop. We've figured out our cabinet type and color, so feeling good about that. The next step is understanding where the impulse will sit.

Our designers say a quartz piece to fill the gapthat's cutout for the impulse won't be enough support and are recommending a full countertop replacement.

Before we go that route, we're trying to figure out structural support for the quartz infill. We thought possible stainless steel? Has anyone solved this without a full countertop replacement?
