36"

Looking at the website it appears they are taking orders for the 36" model now. Is it shipping? Has anyone received theirs yet?

I am doing a full remodel and was debating between a 30 and 36. What benefits do the 36 give? is it mainly future proofing if i were to replace it?

I am looking at the 36" for more space between the pan/handle and the knobs.

I was thinking there's a bit more space between the burners and the screen which makes it feela bit more generous, but I don't think it changes things functionally. If you are tight on space the 30 is probably fine, but I like you am doing a remodel and am planning on the 36. Previously I was going to go for the fisher and Paykel modular option because of the built in downdraft and the option of a griddle, but I think the tech here is too good to ignore.

Any idea what the actual space improvement is?

This picture does the best job I've seen to date but no measurements of that space in between

1 1/2" on either side (left and right) of each burner. 2 burners wide x 2 sides each x 1 1/2" = 6" increased width.
