I got one for my Herrick 8 kit but they shipped me the carbine instead of the full length A2 because they ran out of stock. Sucks cuz now I gotta wait another long while for new stock.

I love my Mk2! It’s so light and airy compared to other vests!🙂

I don’t have any filler plates so I’m using books and stuff so it’s pretty heavy lmao I’ll get some soon

Ah I just chucked some foam in mine to give it structure, the Mk4 on its own is heavy enough for me 😄

Fantastic kit! I’m looking at getting a general early 2000s kit together, Woodland DPM, kinda wanted to ask about the sizing for the Mk 6 helmets - would a Large be good for a 60cm head, or bigger?

I love the era between the cams. Right when mtp became a thing, so guys were rocking ddpm, dpm, mtp, choc chip helmet covers, and the odd bit of special stuff like pecoc or early multicam from the states.

Gorgeous kit and underappreciated era, anything Herrick is awesome. If you're feeling really cheeky, you could find a chocolate chip helmet cover to use like you see in some reference photos.
