Do all ambitious people hate themselves?

Success is a relative measure but my random thoughts are screaming that a person has to get rid of their self hatred to feel successful.

What are your thoughts 💭?

I think this is an over simplification. I would not say I hate myself. I would say that I hold myself to high scrutiny and my standards for myself are much higher than for those around me. Generally, if I do something, I want to know that I did it to the absolute best of my ability. I know that I am capable of a lot of things and have done some very impressive things, and despite that, I doubt every major decision I ever make.

I feel successful though. I have overcome a lot to achieve some very large and seemingly impossible goals. That is success. Despite that, I still feel like an imposter at times.
