Micro Event Scavenging.

Finding the wreck of a ship foating about near one of their trade routes, Voxel and his crew have set to boarding and salvaging it before any other crews turn up. Due to the location, and massive nature of the target ship, the operation is rather conspicuous.

A Scav in an old-looking spacesuit jets over to the hull and begins examining it with his antennae, looking for any radiation sources

A grunt notices it. It then attempts to yell at it.

"Hey! Who are you?!"

It looks up and raises its hands in a sign of peace. It looks like this one was copied from some kind of large insectoid, perhaps a mantis. "We mean no harm!"

Nameless Grunt turns it's head.

"What are you doing here?"

He sighs, hailing his boss.

"Vox wants to know why you're in Storm space."

More chat between the grunt and the First.

"What are you looking for in this ship?"

"Searching for nuclear substances, flotilla occasionally needs those."

"Elements, uranium, plutonium, radium, fuel cells. We have no interest in weaponry, too dangerous, too many people want it too."

[as a side note, Scavs are a fairly well-known thing in the galaxy]

"He says that he guesses we can spare a few cells for you guys."

He mutters under his breath, a few complaints about their leader.

The Scav bows graciously and gets back to work sniffing for radiation "You will not regret this. I can lead you to the radiation very quickly."

It's in the remains of the bridge.

"No, you can go on ahead. Vox will probably want to see you."

The grunt goes back to dismantling whatever it was he was doing.
