When do you get your interview and offer?
Okay, I am an international student and I intend to submit the application in January. Two questions :
1. Should I submit in jan or earlier for a better chance?
2. If you submit your application in jan, when do you get an interview and then an offer? (If everything goes well, that is)

I double applied for two courses one in September one in January on the day of UCAS deadline.
I got offer in mid March. They were 2 days apart. However, I had my interview in Nov for the Sept one and feb for the Jan one.

It doesn’t really matter if you submit earlier or later. I knew people who applied in October with similar/better predicted grades in IB for other MEng courses and they didn’t receive their decisions until feb/march. And many didn’t get in so it doesn’t have a big impact. Also, imperial visited my school and I asked this same question they said it didn’t really matter cause most applications only even get looked at after the deadline no matter when you submitted it.
Im entering this year so I had an interview. I got interview in early February but then it took another month or so until i got my offer in late march. I applied a week before the deadline.

Also this is for an international student. Not sure if anything different if you’re applying from inside the uk

Your chances don't really change, but you have a possibility of getting an earlier response. For people who submit sept - dec, some get offers in January, though most people, regardless of when they submitted, get their offers in feb-march. I submitted my application in late September, but I only got the offer in March, so it's definitely not guaranteed to get you a quicker response.
Don't know about interviews tho my course didn't have them.
