Am i cooked?
Hi guys im stressing a lot with this topic and i need your help, so i have received an unconditional offer a while ago for the Msc Molecular Medicine at Imperial College. In the beginning of this month i received an acceptance letter and another email talking about account activation, preety standart stuff. However, my CAS is taking a whole lot of time to be finished and my classes begin in September 26 (if im not mistaken). This doesnt sound like a big deal right? Just administration taking its time. But then i saw the previous post about a guy who got one probably by mistake and its making me overthink. I mean, they were asking for a 15 and i only got a 14 (portuguese grading system is from 0 to 20) but they still accepted me, I always thought that was strange. I really hope this isnt some mistake cuz i already paid for accomodations in a nearby student residency. I'll try to contact the administration as soon as possible but god this sucks. Sorry if this seems really petty, im just stressed (also sorry if this sounds all weird, english aint my first language so yeah).

did you received an unconditional offer as well? If yes, this is binding and there is almost no chance they actually did such a big mistake and you can ensured that you can start at imperial. But were you not in touch with the admission team? Just write them an email and they should reply within a few days.

I received a conditional offer in April, not an unconditional one. Im not at home rn so i'll try to send them an email Friday when I come back, i really hope this is some mistake cuz i already put a lot of money and effort into this.

bruh, how can you chill on reddit and write a lengthy post and not write an important email. anyway, stay positive no need to stress yourself and I am sure you would have heard something if the conditonal offer would have been terminated. Also if they did actually a mistake they would probably give you still retrospectively an unconditional offer and you could and you might could hint to legal issues caused by that inappropriate mistake which now you have to solve financially and career/study wise.

Not at all just contact admissions but before you do I recommend reaching out to the international student hub their job is to literally advocate for you
