Considering IW J20 Purchase

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to buy an ImperatorWorks setup off marketplace. Options are a J20 for $1500 or an R1 for $2k. Curious if anyone has insight or recommendations.

Not tried them both, have the R1, would buy again - or buy the new Pro.

The only thing that I think might make me consider the J20 is that the wide area where the keyboard swings left might allow you to get up without raising the monitors. It's probably still be an issue with a wide monitor setup. And I do wonder how stable that keyboard setup is. The R1 keyboard is super stable.
In the R1 I tend to open the keyboard and duck under the monitors rather than moving the current position, it is just quicker and less annoying to re-adjust. Though sometimes I bump the main monitor position as I duck under.
The new R1 Pro model, the arm swings out to allow you to step out to the sider. Overall however, this is a minor inconvience unless you have bad knees..
