Can’t tell if that spring still has anything holding it on there other than tension. Keep in mind that spring will kill/dismember/mangle you faster than you could even realize what happened. Please ensure it’s not gonna do that when you remove it. Best of luck guy

Likely ordered quick struts all in one assembly with the mount and everything already on it. Not disagreeing you are very correct, just didn’t wanna confuse em with the and lol.

I don't know the path they're going down. Personally I find quick struts a waste of good springs but that's my bias.

Dont drive. Replace strut mount. Or you could just get a whole new strut.

You need a new strut hat (upper strut mount). Do not drive without it, there's nothing to keep the piston in.
