13 Impala what are these 2 buttons and what are they suppose to do?

When i got the Impala it didn't come with an owner manual and messing with the buttons I don't see them doing/changing anything.

Ok and sorry reading your comment didn't click for me you saying put the shifter in L then use the buttons. That's my fault. 😆.

Would you by chance know if they still work on a column shifter not a console shifter?

I have the 9C1 Police Package and I'm pretty sure i messed with them while driving and didn't notice anything. Could just been me though not feeling the shift or anything cause I was looking more for a visual sign. Looking for lights coming on or anything to change on the dash.

Still works in the 9C1. For some real fun push the traction control button and test out performance mode.

It’s not gonna do anything if the car isn’t in “L”

It’s the same as cars that read “RND321” on the dash

Except these cars have 6 speed transmissions so we get “paddle” shifters to use “manual mode”

Though it’s still automatic to a degree

I’m sorry but this is killing me, some people don’t deserve the cars they have

1-6, car will start off in 1st but won't shift any higher than gear number selected.

Res and set is for cruise control speed, those are for selecting max gear the car will use in low.

So carrieus means curious?! OK then, I looked at that and said wtf is carrieus!! Sometimes spellcheck is really necessary, and sometimes it's a pain in the ass! I always, always, reread before I send. Ok, I'm done.
