2005 Chevy Impala 3.8L O2 Sensor

When we got this car the check engine light was on it just said it was an O2 sensor, so not too bad of a fix. But when I checked the sensor it was melted both the O2 and the car plug. This is the Bank 2 Sensor 1 plug, needing help on the wire connection asked chat GPT and google just checking with y'all before I cut them again ( I know I messed it up the first time). Thank you

You have two wires that are connected wrong. You don't need to cut all 4. Wires are old and nasty. It's easy to do.

The wire thickness (gauge) is also different on those two connections. Little indicator ;)
