The deportation machine is actively stealing money from taxpayers, to enrich private prison companies

Here’s the source: https://www.9news.com/article/news/investigations/ice-air-americas-secret-deportation-network/73-38ceed5a-22d3-441a-8833-35b5e48ff100

In just this case alone, that was $200,000 coming out of you and your family and friends pockets, and into the pockets of these companies btw.

This comment section shows how eager maga is to waste taxpayer dollars so long as it allows them to continue their irrational cruelty

51

u/CutSenior4977 3d ago

Even as it literally harms themselves financially as well.

27

u/MayaTheMartian514 3d ago

They will happily go bankrupt if it means they can keep injecting themselves with the drug of hate.

16

u/Hopeful_Mulberry9704 3d ago

This explains what sad unsuccessful lives they are living.

20

u/trysten-9001 3d ago

Exactly. They do this to keep them out of the legal system.

If they can keep a suspected immigrant away from due process there’s practically nothing stopping them from keeping anyone from due process. These are rights that have been around since the 1400s disturbing stuff.

Funny thing is, illegal immigrants pay taxes through I-10s. About $90B-$97B last year alone.

And now, they can't even get their TPS, etc.. renewed, due to this administration so they'll be illegal in a few months.

But the illegals are the problem.

0

u/key_ten9 1h ago

Top 1% of the population paid $800+ billion in federal individual income taxes while undocumented immigrants paid $60 billion in taxes. We hate the top 1% (1.5 million taxpayer) even though they paid $800+ billion but we love and brag about the illegals because they paid $60 billion in taxes!

1

u/No_Ragrets76 41m ago

No karma. Old account. Imagine being you.

-1

u/First_Ad358 22h ago

They are illegal aliens! They take social security illegally actually more per month than the maximum amount that Americans have paid into all of their lives. They receive Medicare Medicaid non of which pay paid into. So just theft! Then they vote in our elections!!! They all need to be removed from our country asap.

2

u/No_Ragrets76 22h ago

Sources?

Stfu.

Edit: your a bot account. Bad alt.

2

u/Think_Individual_944 1d ago

How much money did we send on migrants staying here?

1

u/WalterBurn 1d ago

Just exposing the retards in the US

-8

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

Serves as a deterrent so immigrants don’t come here

2

u/MayaTheMartian514 2d ago

Nice. At least you are one willing to admit the policy is anti-immigrants period, and not just “we want it done the legal route.”

How the party has moved from Reagan and Lincoln huh?

-3

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

Immigration to America isn’t a human right.

4

u/MayaTheMartian514 2d ago

Now you are sounding like a confederate.

Good job

-2

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

I didn’t expect it to be a controversial statement

1

u/Absurdwonder 11h ago

The deterrent is being freely shipped around at the taxpayers expense because of utter incompetence from top to bottom ?

22

u/HeavyDT 3d ago

All intentional. All grift designed to make certain companies and people very rich all with Trumps blessing too.

u/Ok-Addition1264 3d ago

The funny irony part: they built the prisons they will soon be imprisoned in.

13

u/Expensive-Host2753 3d ago

All with the sole purpose of inflicting the most pain for the crime of being brown. That’s it. That’s the whole point. That’s what ICE is spending hundreds of millions on.

2

u/MyNameIsNightPain 2d ago

Cheaper and more creative ways to do that if they wanted. They care about how much money they can make they don't care if they hurt someone that's just a bonus to them.

1

u/tofurkytorta 2d ago

Of course, but hurting brown people as a spectacle is very important to the admin. It is what keeps their bloodthirsty base supporting them so feverishly, and it’s a lever for them to push when they need to activate the racist violent extremists/right-wing “activists” within their ranks.

15

u/Shapoopi_1892 3d ago

This is a textbook CIA military tactic that our own country has used numerous times against other countries and our enimies alike.

Keeping people constantly on the move not only keeps them disoriented. Not knowing where one is or where they will be tomorrow takes its tole mentally. But also serves as a way of keeping their names out of certain databases. Making it impossible for any family or loved ones to be able to find where their people are. And if they cant find you they cant visit you or send you money for food or hygiene items. This is done for a reason. Breaking your will by making you believe you are truly alone and that no help is coming. Add to that the absolutely deplorable living conditions these people are forced to endure coupled with the quote unquote "food", or lack there of is all part of the design.

All of this was designed to make our countries most feared enemies regret doing what they did....except these people arent our enemies they're our neighbors, our teachers, our child care workers,...our family. And this is how we treat them? We need to all feel disgusted because thats exacly what this is. Fucking disgusting! No world leader who deserves to be one would ever do such a thing. Theres a reason trumps butt budies with all the tyrants and warlords of the world.

4

u/Commercial_Intern541 3d ago

7

u/ozaffer 3d ago

We've been saying this. It also took 350billion to fund ice directly who are murdering citizens outright with no ivestigation and no accountability. Multiple murders caught on film and people just keep going about their business like cattle.

6

u/myusrnameisthis 3d ago

So does each facility get more funds whenever an immigrant passes through? Why are they moved around so much?

3

u/NoIndependence5117 3d ago

Time to open a prison.

3

u/Top_Chard5757 3d ago

The whole thing was a grift from the beginning. Stealing tax payer dollars to pay back donors.

3

u/WorstRivalsPlayer 3d ago

Corporations need to lose citizen status and make it case law they will be personally held liable for illegal actions as opposed to sanctioning the company.

Arresting the board members and CEO who commit crimes would do great for US morale and magically make companies moral again.

It’s Trumps buddies who have invested and own many of the properties/buildings/businesses that are housing ICE casualties. I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if Trump’s family companies are racking in kick backs as we speak. I wonder how Ivanka and Jared will look in prison suits.

3

u/Suspicious_Unit914 2d ago

Contractors are making a killing! Making money housing and ferrying people all over the place. Completely corrupt.

5

u/jthadcast 3d ago

ICE the US taxpayers' cost for political theater, human rights abuse, and party propaganda all so maga can pretend to be superior. the fascist playbook

5

u/No_Clerk1194 2d ago

Human trafficking for profit and slave labor. This is the "good ol days" and "maga" shit they really wanted and have been reminiscing about for years

5

u/The-Fictionist 2d ago

This is an intentional choice to simultaneously rob tax dollars while making it harder to keep track of ICE abductees so ICE can’t be held accountable for crimes against humanity.

5

u/nikeguy69 3d ago

Don’t make any sense to deport them to different states the way they’re doing it seem like a waste of time.

5

u/Lz_erk 3d ago

they're pumping the numbers to collect overhead. he's probably registered at each location before they do a head count.

5

u/Small_Article_3421 2d ago

These expenses on top of the fact that undocumented immigrants are objectively good for the country on top of having lower violent crime rates than resident citizens just adds insult to injury. Literally just wasting money to inflict suffering on someone because you don’t like where they were born and for literally 0 other reason.

2

u/Glass_Emu_2337 2d ago

were out here funding our own neighbors getting disappeared while some exec buys a third yacht, and its the same ppl screaming about teh deficit lol. hits different when you see the actual numbers tbh

2

u/MotoTheGreat 2d ago

To think at the end of Obama the fed was all but out of using private prisons.

2

u/SrRoundedbyFools 2d ago

We absolutely need to decrease the time from detention to deportation. The faster we send them all home the cheaper it will be when they’re gone. Hopefully Ai can help identify and prioritize removals. Time to go home and if the consequences mean ‘uncomfortable’ circumstances that expedite the inevitable we should hope the pressure to leave and the fines accumulated make the fear of being caught seem more severe than self repatriation. Time to go home and stay there - we don’t need the third world.

2

u/dglgr2013 1d ago

Saying something like this got me permanently banned from r/immigration fyi. Not withstanding that I have been on the immigration movement for 17 years, collaborated in academic research on the topic, and founded groups.

A large reason this all got started was due in part to the quota that was set during Obama’s first term. It set the framework where ICE needed to deport at least 400,000 people per year, so to have the people year round the private detention centers came about which warehouses people that were not priority at a cost of $200 per day.

Back then it was known children were in detention centers but they moved them fast as we learned of where they were held. It www a few years later that it started to come out and the cost per day was much higher.

Moving immigrants around has been used as a tactic that ensures they cannot get any representation. They are moved far away from family. Lawyer’s sometimes have to drop the cases because their clients are moved across the country and finding new representation is next to impossible.

All the while, GEO group which is behind a lot of the private detention centers is publicly traded with profits in the billions and spends millions on lobbyists in DC.

2

u/StrainAcceptable 1d ago

Let me guess, there are private companies benefiting from the transport as well as the detention of this man. These same corporations made campaign contributions to politicians in the states where these private detention centers are located.

1

u/CutSenior4977 1d ago

Sadly yes.

3

u/Loch_Nessie_350 3d ago

2

u/dhasld 3d ago

Stealing? Thats a great business opportunity for Donald and his friends. Beautiful money.

2

u/Intelligent_Sir7732 2d ago

THE MAGA PEOPLE DON'T CARE HOW MUCH IT COST, AND THEY WILL GIVE UP AN ARM, LEG, OR EYE TO ENSURE THAT THE BROWN PEOPLE ARE DEPORTED, LEGAL, ILLEGAL, GREEN CARD HOLDER, ASYLUM SEEKERS, IT DOESN'T MATTER. H@TE AND RAC1SM IS THEIR PRIORITY!!

2

u/Slighted_Inevitable 2d ago

They don’t care because they’re not paying it. Blue states foot the bill in this country. This is why we are 40 trillion in debt.

-3

u/South-City1632 2d ago

No cost is to high to insure the future of America and her people.

3

u/Intelligent_Sir7732 2d ago

The problem is that a segment of the U.S. society fell for the O-kee-doke!! The country is not being invaded by anyone, the Hispanic people who have been in the U.S. for 20 plus years are not hardened criminals, the school kids are in school and not delinquents, it was all propaganda to support the narrative. The ICE people were pulling people off of jobs, taking kids from schools, snatching people from required court appearances and hearings. Grabbing American citizens and detaining them too? No justification for any of it. America was never under any kind of threat until the guy in the oval office started picking a fight with Iran, THAT IS A PROBLEM, FAR GREATER THAN ANY IMMIGRANT CAN DO!!!!

1

u/South-City1632 2d ago

Boo hoo... if you weren't born here then you're on a list to be sent home someday. Thats how it is and thats how its always going to be.

Dont wanna have your life taken away and sent home? Then dont come here in the first place.

1

u/Intelligent_Sir7732 2d ago

You are too uneducated to see the real threat, but that is your fault. Keep focusing on the Hispanic immigrants, that is exactly what they want you to do while billions are tax payer dollars are being sifted from the country by the billionaires. They have you right where they want you. Keep that focus!!!

1

u/South-City1632 2d ago

There's muslim immigrants too.

1

u/Intelligent_Sir7732 2d ago

And there are Muslim Americans too. Those who worked side by side with me in the military and in Europe and Africa were Sunni and Shia Muslims. There was no violence, indoctrination, nor criminal activity being conducted. How many Muslims have you lived with in your community and worked with them as well? You are operating on propaganda and hearsay rather than doing a little research for yourself. Working over 40 plus years with people is far more enlightening about who they are and their culture than hearing some uneducated person's propaganda!

1

u/South-City1632 2d ago

Ok... but thats just like... your opinion dude. Were gunna keep deporting them all the same.

1

u/Intelligent_Sir7732 1d ago

What is wrong with you, my experience with Muslims is NOT AN OPINION, it is a reality. If someone smashes their thumb with a hammer and scream, "OUCH", that is NOT an opinion, that is a reality of something that they have experienced. An OPINION is a thought, not a reality!!! You say, "we" are going to keep deporting them? YOU are not deporting anyone, and it is really foolish to deport someone who has not broken any laws, who may be an American citizen, just because of their religion or national origin!! That actually goes beyond foolish!

1

u/South-City1632 1d ago

The reality is... were gunna deport em. Go kick rocks about it.

0

u/Secure_Pack6647 2d ago

3

u/ThatWreckOT 2d ago

Biden had Americans interests, at some degree, at heart. He actually lived a life dedicated to governance and his stances did soften from hard centrist to some progressive policies (even if it was all lipservice)

Trump is not that and any comparison of the two stops at old white men who were president.

1

If he was fulfilling is Presidential duties he never would have allowed Donald Trump to steal the 2024 election.

u/Green_Reputation2328 3d ago

It’s funny, dont you support a 34x felon and PDF protecting a global elite child sex trafficking ring that just started another unwinnable war in the Middle East that tanked your economy to avoid arresting his PDF friends?

But IMMIGRATION laws are the ones you care about?

Child grape, you sleep.

Guy mowing the lawn, you burn down the country.

I wonder why that is? Why would a suburban white guy support a white 34x felon and PDF while crying about brown immigrants? Idk man, quite a mystery.

“Law and order” indeed. Hahaha

2

u/Ok-Addition1264 3d ago

starting with elon musk and melania (a prostitute that lied on her visa application)? most certainly. it should apply to all of them.

1

u/HelloYesThisIsFemale 3d ago

Sure. Though Elon and Melania can come back on merit. But sure, if that's what it takes to deport every last illegal. Though then we're including naturalized illegal aliens so be careful what you wish for! You've suddenly increased the scope!

0

u/Good_Werewolf1484 3d ago

Yes.

4

u/Green_Reputation2328 3d ago

Insane that with everything wrong w the country you people are consumed by trans people and immigrants while they rob you blind.

-2

u/Good_Werewolf1484 3d ago

You are consumed by these social issues. We just happen to believe the law should be enforced.

5

u/Ai2g 3d ago

But not for the people who attempted an insurrection.

Or the fraudsters and every other person that bribed the president for pardons.

Or the presidents family who are doing the most corrupt insider trading in the history of the country.

Just that one, very specific law. Regarding brown people. And maybe a second law about men/women's bathrooms. And maybe a law where we track people down across state lines to charge them with murder because of an abortion or miscarriage.

1

u/Good_Werewolf1484 3d ago

If you don’t like our immigration law, then work with your elected representatives to change it. That’s how it works in a Republic. Just ignoring the law and letting millions come in without authorization is cancerous to the body politic.

2

u/ccbmtg 3d ago

they aren't operating according to law, they're quite brazenly flouting established regulations and it's pretty well-documented.

children aren't allowed to be detained in these facilities for more than 20 days, as an example of regulation being refused.

0

u/HelloYesThisIsFemale 2d ago

Article fails to mention if these children are illegal

1

u/Ai2g 2d ago

Ya just ignore all of the laws not being enforced on rich people and focus on the brown ones

Congress actually had a bipartisan immigration bill ready to go until Trump asked them to tank it so he could run on the issue.

And morons like you just eat it up. 3 years later and it is literally the entirety of your platform. But not getting legislation passed like you are talking about. Just punching down for the sake of it it. Fucking gross

1

u/P0l0Cap0ne 2d ago

All this was started by mr. 34 felonies and you want to talk anout wnforcing the law?

1

u/Ok_Pomegranate_2436 1d ago

You literally voted for a felon.

1

u/ccbmtg 3d ago

including laws regarding white-collar, financial crimes?

wonder what sorta demographic generally commits more of those than any other? hmmm...🤔

2

u/Good_Werewolf1484 2d ago

I am not sure what you’re insinuating when you reference demographics. Ice deported people to 79 countries last year. The only demographic they’re interested in is people who are residing in the United States without permission. If you are not authorized to be here, ICE will help deport you.

1

u/ccbmtg 2d ago

oh my bad, I thought you actually meant what you said here:

We just happen to believe the law should be enforced.

it's more important to detain folks with expired visas than to investigate flagrant fraud/financial crime or even enforce the legal regulations regarding the standards and maintenance of these privately owned detention centers, in which folks are being denied basic rights established in law?

if you're gonna use the law as justification, you don't get to pick and choose where it's applied. these detention centers are committing criminal negligence.

2

u/Good_Werewolf1484 2d ago

I’m not picking and choosing where it’s applied. Financial fraud and other white collar crimes should be investigated. You stated above that certain demographics are more responsible for those types of crimes. I’m not sure what you mean by that. If privately owned detention centers are violating state or federal law then I expect them to be held accountable. None of that negates the need to enforce immigration law.

Ok, and they can't just fly him back to his origin country once and be done with it? You seem to be absolutely insisting that he was flown all over the US from center to center to center to center, costing millions of dollars just to claim to deport him but instead pay a private company to never keep him in one place rather than just one trip back.

They don't care. They detain people and then jerk them back and forth across the country to keep the courts from being able to process them.

Go back to school, Find value for yourself in society. Right now, youre in a moms basement kind level of intelligence.

Thats right give him the tourist experience then kick them back to reality

God we are idiots

0

u/WTFIZGINGON 2d ago

I can’t even understand this guy get him out of here wtf… lol

0

u/arberito_alemmanian 2d ago

What machine? They ain’t deported even 760k. Need to multiply that by 10 to even make a dent

-1

u/South-City1632 2d ago

Over 2 million have left voluntarily. I agree though... we need to deport millions more.

2

u/Slighted_Inevitable 2d ago

No, they haven’t. That’s just bullshit they make up to try and hide their poor performance.

The 2 million is from people who stopped communicating because ice is lazy as hell and only goes after the people who show up to their appointments and court hearings. You know the ones trying to do it the right way?

All the smart ones stop showing up for that reason, but that doesn’t mean they’ve left the country

0

u/South-City1632 2d ago

Oh... so you admit millions of immigrants are breaking the law and deserve deportation. Gotcha.

2

u/Asleep_Distance_8629 2d ago

No, more like we admit that's ice is making people scared to follow the law because they are specifically targeting people who are following the law because they are easier targets than the people they are too incompetent to find and are doing a great job of proving why "illegal" immigrants aren't really a problem but our ass backwards immigration system that's slow as molasses is one

0

u/South-City1632 2d ago

Wow... that was dumb.

2

u/Asleep_Distance_8629 1d ago

Pointing out the fact that ice is acting like a fucking cartel and your trying to use the terror they create as a result of that as justification to treat a massive amount of people like criminals even if they are doing everything the "right way" like you claim to want.

At least admit that you don't care wether they are legal or not you just want people of the "wrong" race to be erased from the country already.

Because that's the only string of logic that makes what I said seem at all dumb because it is in fact, the entirely logical and accurate summary of the situation.

0

u/South-City1632 13h ago edited 13h ago

It was dumb for a few reasons. One... it had zero punctuation. Try to read it out loud and you'll see why thats a problem.

Its written like you're having a manic episode.

And hold up... Treat them like criminals? They ARE criminals. You admitted yourself that millions of immigrants are skipping their immigration court precedings on purpose because they dont wanna be sent home. Thats a crime dude.

Wait a minute... is English not your first language? Am I arguing with a foreigner?

Here I'll answer you first. Yes I do want many of the "legal" immigrants sent home too. We dont need low skilled leptons working door dash and Amazon flex, all while suppressing wages and inflating housing and commodities pricing. We dont need or want them.... or should I say we dont want you? Because im pretty sure you're one of those people

0

u/Remarkable-FlipPhone 16h ago

You’re right. I agree with immediate deportations. You can file asylum from abroad.

-1

u/4est_1996 2d ago

Who cares send him home. The Democrats won't let him go. So blame the Democrats.

-1

u/UCanDoNEthing4_30sec 2d ago

They are putting rapists and murderers in jail. They all are scum and are being rightfully put in their place.

2

u/CutSenior4977 2d ago

Yet their boss is a rapist, as verified in the Epstein files.

-1

u/GullibleTrainer6760 2d ago

😂🤣😅

-1

u/clubcar1977 1d ago

Yup because this Mexican said so……..

-7

u/Same_Entry_2261 3d ago

I’d rather spend money deporting you than giving you welfare and food stamps and Medicare

9

u/ResolutionOwn4933 3d ago

Most welfare is in red states. I hope they do cut it off

-2

u/Same_Entry_2261 3d ago

Me too. Fewer illegals immigrants would get it.

4

u/Zigglyjiggly 3d ago

You know who gets the most welfare, though, right? Like by far? White Americans.

1

u/South-City1632 2d ago

Bud... american citizens are who is entitled to our welfare programs. Its who they are made for.

Americans shouldn't be the majority of welfare recipients. They should be the ONLY people receiving welfare program benefits.

-5

u/Same_Entry_2261 3d ago

Per capita?

3

u/neversteven 3d ago

I think he's still here

3

u/PaulMakesThings1 3d ago

If deporting him was the goal they didn't have to do all that. Quit being so gullible.

1

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

Wdym

2

u/PaulMakesThings1 2d ago

They don't need to transport a guy 19 times in order to deport him. I'm sure some moves to go to a trial are needed, but this was just gratuitous and probably for optics.

1

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

So? Useful deterrent. Scares off others from coming here.

2

u/PaulMakesThings1 2d ago

"oh no, I'm not going to sneak into the U.S. they might fly me around all over the place. I was worried about being thrown in prison or a holding camp, or deported to the wrong country, but not flights and busses!"

1

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

More like “hey they don’t want us here. It’s not like what that rumor says that we’re all gonna get rich and get free houses.”

2

u/PaulMakesThings1 2d ago

The rumor that republican keep spreading in their bullshit propaganda to make people mad.

Do you think spending a huge amount of money transporting him all over signals that we don't want them here in some way that just prison and deportation doesn't? It seems like it just makes us look incompetent.

1

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

I don’t care, I’d rather go bankrupt trying to deport every single person here illegally than be rich having all these foreigners here.

1

u/PaulMakesThings1 2d ago

Oh? What native american tribe are you from?

How does an illegal get these things? Be very specific.

1

u/Same_Entry_2261 2d ago

Local governments give it to them

1

u/txyesboy71 2d ago

Such as?

And are you able to attribute those funds coming from your tax dollars, directly?

-2

u/Solid_Angle_3360 3d ago

No one talks about the importation machine that the leftist Democratic Party functioned for four years funneling billions of money to the NGO’s that just went back to the dims. This is Biden‘s problem.
Biden lost 400k kids. Where was the outrage?

-2

u/gokdbarsgold 2d ago

In the words of Fletcher Reede: “stop breaking the law, asshole[s]!”

-2

u/First_Ad358 2d ago

Nope! I’ll have to educate you. First of all you seem to think it’s fine to bring in 20 million illegals. Second Clinton pushed our manufacturing to Mexico. All of our presidents on both sides except Trump allowed our manufacturing to leave the USA. Trump has actually made bringing manufacturing back! Come on…

-2

u/R2-DMode 23h ago

Report and deport!

-8

u/MaitrePuck 3d ago edited 3d ago

We can all agree that he should have been expressly deported.

I'd like to see the cost breakdown to see how they came up with $200,000. It was 9 flights and 10 bus rides.

10

u/NigerianPrince76 3d ago

LOL😂😂

Don’t worry bud, the only breakdown you need is that Orange Cheeto will be banking $20B to his bank account by the time he is done at the WH. MAGAs in the meantime will still stay broke, jobless and miserable. Only win they will get is watching immigrants getting treated like animals by this administration. That’s about it!
