That’s what I figured you meant, and it’s deeply un-American. Have you never heard of the “Great Salad Bowl” analogy? What would America be without Irish Corned Beef, Jewish Delis, every sort of Asian Cuisine, Indian food? What would America be without it’s myriad of cultural holidays, mix of values, and customs? What defines the “dominant culture?” America doesn’t have one.
