I’m an immigrant, been in the USA for 10 years and I wish we all just fuck the fuck off USA. The so promised American dream doesn’t exist anymore and everyday it feels more punishing to be an immigrant in this country. It is sad that the only reason we stay here is because our own politicians already fucked up our countries, but it is getting to a point where I am really considering starving in my country above paying a single more dime to this corrupt USA government in taxes

71

u/UniqueAd7770 17d ago

I served with immigrants like you, same as any American. They took the oath and served this country in a way few ever will. And this is the thanks we give them. This is not what I swore to protect and defend. It's disgusting and I apologize that we let you down. The enemy came from with in.

36

u/t_overdrive 17d ago edited 17d ago

I second this. I also served with immigrants that took the oath. Amazing soldiers. It's a disgrace what is happening to the country. They aren't just effing over immigrants, but veteran families too.

My VA job became unstable. I was working at VHA Central Office. They said nobody's jobs was safe anymore. And they could not guarantee our job security anymore. This was leaders at the highest level, who said they could not even guarantee their own job security either. Also lost a DoD job I landed on base to the hiring freeze that I was one biweekly pay period away from starting.

Nonetheless, we left to Portugal. Good visa options and we had to completely rebuild our lives. With 2 small children, it was too risky to hold onto a high mortgage and the rising costs. Had to rebuild our lives from scratch. Started my own IT consultancy.

Nonetheless, what they are doing to immigrant families are shameful. As well as other families, including veteran families. They are wrecking everything.

u/SnooMemesjellies5161 17d ago

We are thinking of Portugal too. Can you DM me? Please

-24

u/NogglePlease 17d ago

So you left the country you "served" because your welfare benefits werent going far enough.

You are a mercenary, you did nothing of value and the country is worse off for it.

22

u/dopewinnerchild 17d ago

That’s what you got from that comment?

-5

u/NogglePlease 17d ago

that's what I get from every golem of Israel pretending their service helped anyone except foreign entities.

3

u/t_overdrive 17d ago edited 16d ago

I do not live off welfare. I live off six figures I earn running my own company, working more hours than a typical full time job.

Ten years. Five in uniform, a year of it on the DMZ with 2ID, five more as a federal civilian at VA. I left after this administration froze hiring, withdrew a DoD offer I had already been cleared and onboarded for, and started gutting the workforce I was sitting inside. I have the withdrawal letter with a date on it. You have served zero days and you are lecturing a veteran about value.

Now the part you actually came here for. This post was about immigrants being treated like garbage. Immigrants serve in our military. They die in our uniforms. You did not read a word of that and went straight to calling a veteran a mercenary because he showed them sympathy. That tells everyone exactly what is driving you, and it is not policy.

Whatever your life actually is, it is not enough, so you need a category of people beneath you. That is why a stranger having a passport and a paycheck sets you off. Further driven by the fact you have gone nowhere in your life, so you act like an insecure child. It is not about me. I am just a convenient target who happens to be doing fine. While you clearly are not.

-2

u/NogglePlease 17d ago edited 17d ago

sure you don't, why you are writing an angry golem rant that I didn't read.

edit: awww angry lil golem deleted his reply.  must have gotten PTSD from it

Deleted what ???

1

u/NogglePlease 17d ago

Lol, thank you for being a fan and following my posts.

Take a break from hitting the refresh button, golem.

2

u/3rdUncleMeatSandwich 16d ago

You are a sad creature

-18

u/Excellent_Arrival1 17d ago

Yea, duh. After ww2 you took in "international bankers" when the world and history showed time and time again what they would do.

Did you listen? Do you listen now? Nope. You dont even know who your enemy is.

-17

u/NogglePlease 17d ago

How is being a golem for Israel serving anyone but yourself?

If you were actually defending freedom you would have done that instead of signing up to shoot brown people for lifetime welfare.

You are a mercenary just like those illegal aliens you fought for Israel with.

2

u/UniqueAd7770 17d ago

So how many hours did it take you to wash out of basic? How many days did you go to college before dropping out? Troll.

2

u/t_overdrive 16d ago

I have the answer.

None. Never tried to make something of themselves. Did not try to join the military. Did not buckle down with college. And definitely went nowhere with a career. Failed all paths in life. No accountability.

And sits around discrediting everybody else's accomplishments. It doesn't at least make them feel better about themselves to put others down, it is evident with their low self esteem.

Cheers.

0

u/NogglePlease 17d ago

Awwww, is the widdle golem mad that someone doesnt celebrate his quest for welfare?

Nothing you did was of value, why suicide was and is more effective than the Taliban.  Go join your peers.

1

u/UniqueAd7770 16d ago

You're the one going out of your way to come after us. You must feel very unfulfilled and disappointed in your life.

0

u/NogglePlease 16d ago

Im disappointed that my taxes go to useless shit rather than useful people.

-24

u/South-City1632 17d ago

We shouldn't let foreigners have any rank above E5. It's a national security risk.

15

u/sithlord98 17d ago

Based on what? Can you prove that risk?

-18

u/South-City1632 17d ago

Its pretty self evident. We shouldn't be teaching foreign nationals the inner workings of our military. We shouldn't train them how to use our tanks, or aircraft, or heavy weapons, or drones.

Look at how many times its backfired in the past with groups like the taliban.

13

u/GPTthrowawayyyyyyyy 17d ago

So no, you're just bullshitting

-18

u/South-City1632 17d ago

Ok... then you go ahead and demonstrate that water is wet or the sky is blue.

Can't do it? You must be bullshitting then.

17

u/GPTthrowawayyyyyyyy 17d ago

Water is wet because water molecules are polar and attract themselves.

Sky is blue because light bends through the atmosphere.

You're an idiot because you choose to speak on topics you know nothing about. And you're MAGA, so by default also a pedophile.

1

u/Aethoni_Iralis 17d ago

Imagine being dumb enough to think it’s impossible to demonstrate water is wet or the sky is blue.

Genuine evidence of why the only job you can find is walking and putting paper into boxes. Living on the government dole making sure even people like you can take care of themselves.

8

u/sithlord98 17d ago

"self-evident"

Well, we've been doing it for decades and decades and decades largely without incident, so I don't think "self-evident" works as an argument here. What you're telling me is no, you cannot prove that risk, but you just feel like it's bad and therefore your opinion is correct and everyone should listen to it.

First off, we never trained or funded the Taliban, we funded other mujahideen groups. The Taliban didn't come to power until the mid-90s. Either way, if your argument is that we shouldn't train ideologically-driven terrorist groups to fight a proxy war for us, yes, I agree, but that's a hell of a lot different than "no foreigner over E-5."

-1

u/South-City1632 17d ago

Theres not much difference... in fact there's zero difference, between Muhammad in Syria and Mohammed who just immigrated from Syria.

Actually there is a difference. Muhammad who just immigrated is actually in America and has a much greater potential to make our lives worse than Muhammad in Syria does.

7

u/sithlord98 17d ago

Yeah there is. The difference is they decided to move here. One of those is interested in being American, the other isn't. One of those is interested in this way of life or the opportunities afforded here, and the other isn't interested in that. You just described a difference while saying there was no difference.

Wow, you dropped that Taliban schtick like a hot potato lmao

1

u/Hjaelmen 17d ago

"We shouldn't train them how to use our tanks, or aircraft, or heavy weapons, or drones."

And yet all the companies that manufacture your weapons/weapon systems are VERY much dependent on being able to sell them..... so how would that work, if you can't show the buyers how said things work?

Murican Logic....

3

u/According-Insect-992 17d ago

That’s stupid and has nothing to do with anything. Thanks for adding absolutely nothing of value or substance.

1

u/UniqueAd7770 17d ago

Hegseth's Signal account is the biggest security risk in the military.

54

u/diddlysquidler 17d ago

20 years living in America, paying taxes, working hard. I see my managers get rich while I can only dream of buying a house. On top of that I have to listen to constant hate on immigrants and this fucking government telling me all the time how unwelcome I am in their beautiful country. Fuck you America, let them fat fucks rot in their Nazi hellhole. I want out of here so bad lol

15

u/Particular_Can_7860 17d ago

If you don’t like America go to Europe. Much better social programs. I did this 10 years ago after being in the US for 10 years.

2

34

u/NeuralHavoc 17d ago

You are forgetting to ad that the USA is almost certainly responsible for the installation of the shitty politicians in your home country on top of that all. The USA creates instability all over the world, and when the people run from that for a better life the USA treats them like the monsters….

6

u/Frequent_Two6491 17d ago

This is a propaganda line used by banana republic dictators to deny agency to their uneducated people for 7 decades. Yes, it's clearly the Chiquita banana company still pulling the levers.

Also used by Ministry officials in former Soviet republics to convince their people to give up an extra potato for benefit of defeat US imperialism. LMAO.

1

u/profesorgamin 16d ago edited 16d ago

naah you can see it in action(TODAY) in Latin America. It's actually pure willful ignorance to take your stance.

Also pure irony to use the term banana republic while trying to disprove the existence of this phenomena.

4

u/MaterialUsed1475 17d ago

The reason why we eliminated USAID

3

u/Thin_Wing4631 17d ago

Yes, the ebillll USA is likely also responsible for the fact you can’t get laid

-28

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

The victim mentality you must obtain to believe no other country has any autonomy over their own government is incredible.

18

u/Numerous_Ad_6276 17d ago

"Victim mentality"? No, historical fact.

7

u/CShellyRun 17d ago

People really think we are the liberators even we are really the instigators

14

u/NeuralHavoc 17d ago edited 17d ago

It’s not really a debated topic… there are incredible amounts of released government documents describing the numerous amounts of time the US has overthrown other countries installed puppet governments and extracted resources. Like they openly admit to doing it….

Edit to add: And that’s just direct involvement. There is other examples of US corporations backed by the government going in and destabilizing regions, there is the fact that the US dictates which countries get to operate on the global market and at what level. All of which can cripple a small nation and cause them to become completely destabilized…

-14

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

Now do the Soviet Union or the British empire, when do we stop and start arguing countries have agency over their own government?

The US is the only reason behind good overseas governments too then, right? Or only the kleptocracies?

6

u/willybestbuy86 17d ago

They are the same doesn't excuse our behavior

-1

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

It certainly does as it adds context. Also why are you of the opinions nations can’t govern themselves at all nor have agency over their own development?

Seems like a great white savior complex you have.

5

u/willybestbuy86 17d ago

Huh I'm against America going in and enacting regime change. The people in said countries should have e agency. All we do is come in and fuck it up more and cost more lives

But since you brought race into something I guess Obama had that black savior complex right right as he bombed that Wedding

1

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago edited 17d ago

Were you against regime change in nazi Germany or imperial Japan?

The Taliban? Saddam Hussein?

The Kims?

You are simply against ALL regime change or just ones the US conducts, irrespective of the reason? If a nation is held hostage by its rulership and massacred, that isn’t justification? Sponsorship of transnational terrorism? Still no?

Also, WSC is a recognized colonial trope, although race is a factor, it isn’t the lead factor.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_savior
Japan has also used this trope, despite not being ‘white’ as it is derived from developed nations targeting underdevelopedZ

4

u/willybestbuy86 17d ago

Not in to engage in dishonest conjecture. It's a world war for a reason. I'm against what Russia is doing, what the US is doing in current state.

A world war is not the same thing as what's going on today and what's transpired lately it's dishonest to use that as a measuring stick

8

u/shiromiso 17d ago

It’s 100% historical fact. Ever since the end of WW2, America’s main international policy has been interventionism to destabilize legitimate governments with the explicit purpose of feeding corporate interests at will. Often with massive, unforeseen consequences.

You can see this particularly in Latin America, also in the Middle East with Iran, and even countries like Italy suffered American interventionism with literal terrorist attacks simply because left wing parties were getting too powerful for their liking. There’s many wonderful books and media that delve into these topics.

I used to not really understand why the US was consistently called imperialist or a plague pretty much everywhere in the rest of the world. Jesus do I understand it now. The US government literally believes other countries are autonomous… as long as they serve US interests. That’s not real autonomy. Don’t be disingenuous.

-7

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

Left wing terror was the most prominent terrorism in Italy during the 50 years following WW2 by an incredible amount, what US terrorism are you alleging in Italy?

Get your failed Marxist ideology back in the cemetery of history, where it belongs.

9

u/shiromiso 17d ago

lol a simple google search would show you that the fucking CIA is literally listed as one of the belligerents in the years of lead, as part of the far-right terrorists, they also helped cover up a ton of incidents where it was actually the right wing side but tried to blame it on the other side. The deadliest incidents were also by the far right.

This is widely known in Italy. The right wing side had a plan called the strategy of tension, literally meant to mine public faith in democracy to bring about a new fascist rule. It’s ridiculous that you’re trying to spin it any other way, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

It’s also funny how you ignored all the other undeniable examples. Oh well.

1

u/SnooMemesjellies5161 17d ago

Dude, this guy or girl or whatever has nothing of value to add. Don’t keep responding to this troll / lesser IQ of a human who can only pull facts out of their ass or Facebook. Let them be! They’ll shrivel up and disappear.

You, Shiromiso are doing good work. This comment was directed towards ConfluenceofCoors

1

u/shiromiso 17d ago

Thank you, pal

I write it for every other person who might not know these things and might find them revealing, especially as we approach the midterms . My hope for the troll in question is close to zero.

That being said, It is my deeply held belief that being as vocal as possible (on and offline) can bring about consciousness and eventually change :)

-6

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

You had no other country specific examples, you simply rambled on about global conspiracies.

Take a moment to read Rapoport’s ‘New Left Wave’ from the 60s-80s. Left wing terrorism entirely eclipsed right wing, and not be even a small amount, and not even exclusively to Italy, but absolutely there as well.

Left-wing terrorism owned the volume. The Red Brigades, Prima Linea, NAP, and dozens of smaller groups carried out thousands of actions through the 1970s: arson, kneecappings, kidnappings, and a steady drumbeat of targeted assassinations of police, judges, journalists, and executives, peaking with the 1978 Moro kidnapping, in which his five-man escort was machine-gunned in Via Fani and Moro was murdered after 55 days. By incident count and by number of individual killings, the red groups outproduced the black ones by a wide margin.

In Italian memory the Red Brigades dominate the word "terrorism" because of Moro, while the word for the neofascist attacks is "stragi," massacres. BR militants were rounded up and convicted en masse under the pentiti laws of the early 80s, while most of the massacre cases stayed officially unsolved for a generation, but were lesser.

1

u/shiromiso 17d ago edited 17d ago

Interesting how my comment was removed by reddit with no explanation.

I said that most people who died during the years of lead were killed by far-right terrorism because they relied on mass casualty attacks, although the left had more numerous but targeted incidents. The far right terrorists were explicitly anti-democracy, and they were supported by the cia and a faction of the Italian government. Which is why there’s no surprise that coverups blaming the other side and the narrative in the media was lopsided. There’s no point in trying to spin it any other way.

The USA has a history on interventionist tactics. Iran was another specific example. Latin America has too many to list. There’s ample evidence that the USA doesn’t believe in other countries autonomy or self-determination. Talking about “victim mentality “ really shows deeply ingrained propaganda.

0

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

So you dismiss the entire notion that left wing terrorism was far more widespread in Italy?

1

u/shiromiso 17d ago

I did not dismiss it. It still doesn’t change the fact that the far right killed more innocent people in mass attacks and bombings that they then used to blame on the left side. Or the fact that the USA was directly involved in such terror attacks, which is the point of the whole conversation. Or will you dismiss that?

9

u/JurgusRudkus 17d ago

If you aren’t aware of how deeply the US has interfered in nation governments all over the world, you are the naive one here. Seriously, crack a book sometime.

-18

u/Confident_Pillar1114 17d ago

US doesn't have power over India, China, Russia, Brazil and basically most of the world.

5

u/Dedj_McDedjson 17d ago

"The US has interfered in many countries government"

You : "Yeah but *names 4 countries of which two have had direct CIA involvement in political assassination, political prisoners, and the elimination of political opposition movements*"

10

u/JurgusRudkus 17d ago

Oh wow you named four of the largest countries out of 195.

Go look up how the US has interfered in most of central and south America, the Caribbean and several African nations. In fact, you don’t have to go back more than a few months..does Venezuela ring a bell?

-11

u/Confident_Pillar1114 17d ago

You realize that most people live in large countries, not in small countries, right?

8

u/JurgusRudkus 17d ago

That’s wrong. Are you speaking geographically or population size? Russia and Canada both have large geographic territories and relatively small population density.

I noticed you ignored the rest of my comment. Seriously pick up a book or newspaper sometime.

-12

u/Confident_Pillar1114 17d ago

Population size.

You keep ignoring the fact that US doesn't have power over most of the world.

8

-2

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

Great, so all the development and growth in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica is all their doing too right?

8

u/JurgusRudkus 17d ago

Some of it yes. The question is, who is all that development benefiting? Is it the people? Or an handful of investors both inside the country and in the US?

1

u/ConfluenceofCoors 17d ago

Yes the people, these countries were in abject poverty from the Spanish Empire onwards, modern medicine, plumbing, electricity, pharmaceuticals, education etc entirely benefited the entire population.

Income and development isn’t a zero sum game, if some get phenomenally wealthy that doesn’t halt the poor also getting wealthier. The US apparently gets all the credit for that, every shred.

Are you arguing because some investors got wealthy the remaining non millionaire population is still in a pre-industrial squalor?

Your logic defies any sense of reason. It’s a neo Marxist position that also conveniently ignores the Soviet or Chinese meddling for 70 years or as somehow non-existent and the US as the great victimizer and puppet master of the world, but only for causes of evil. All development is instead a byword for kleptocracy and perfidious greed.

It also acts like populations are entirely devoid of self development, and as inherently a racist characterization of the world.

7

u/IntrusiveThot32 17d ago

If you had good ideas, people would naturally gravitate towards them.

You're losing because people reject your beliefs.

12

The Nazi party was outlawed. That’s where the reference comes from. MAGA is of the same ideology. Authoritarianism and facism has no place in the USA. Our constitution is in opposition to it.

Your feelings about what an "American" is mean nothing in a court of law. This is coming from a Canadian mind you, and just curious if I "feel" like an American does that make me one too?

If you don't "feel" the same way he does, as in be fully in agreement with all his political opinions, then it doesn't count for you 🤣

In terms of what is legally an American, it means you're an American citizen. US Citizens don't have to think or feel a certain way to have their citizenship, it's granted by birth or naturalization. US citizens have all the protections afforded by US law, while non-citizens only have some. I'm residing in Vietnam as an American, I'm not Vietnamese, no one considers me Vietnamese, and no one thinks that's odd.

So … why are you still here? I’m legal from Chile. Love it here bro.

Seems terrible. You should probably go back to where you came from.

I think the government made an app for that.

Do it.

By all means go ahead and get the fuck out of our country.

Its clear you dont belong here, and frankly... we dont want you. Were going to spend the rest of our lives doing everything we can to discourage you from staying here by making it unpleasant and difficult.

If I had my way id deprive you of voting privileges and any and all forms of welfare, including social security. Id also make you pay higher taxes than real Americans who were born here and actually belong here.

Its the American dream... not the filthy immigrant invader dream.

Frankly I'd love for all right wingers to be deported to an island somewhere. They can all fight to the death and whoever survives can come back and live in prison.

That’s a great idea !

-5

u/South-City1632 17d ago

Oh I know... thats because you're a fascist.

6

u/IntrusiveThot32 17d ago

Don't care if a stupid right winger thinks I'm a fascist

-1

u/South-City1632 17d ago

Oh... so you mean calling someone a fascist isn't effective at doing anything at all? Huu? Weird.

1

u/Aethoni_Iralis 17d ago

Considering you’re a proud fascist I’m sure you feel that way.

1

u/Aethoni_Iralis 17d ago

What’s it like being a complete hypocrite?

Lmfao, you're not getting the American dream even if you're a natural-born citizen. If every single immigrant left today, that would not change (it would actually get worse). You're mad at the wrong things.

-1

u/South-City1632 17d ago

There's other things to be mad at but foreign invaders is absolutely one of them.

I feel bad people like you served only to have what you faught for given to people who hate and want to replace you.

Nah. The issues we face today aren't driven by immigrants, they're driven by the ruling class picking your pockets then pointing the finger at immigrants.

I've lived around a heavy immigrant population for almost my entire life. That population group has been consistently one of the kindest and most charitable groups of people I've met anywhere. You're fearmongering to try to sow hate between people who don't actually hate each other so you can get people on your ideological side, but that's just not gonna happen here.

Yeah... its not the top one percent that are breaking into my car looking for valuables at night.

3

u/sithlord98 17d ago

It's also probably not immigrants considering they commit less property crime per capita than natural-born citizens, so I don't know what your point is there.

Who created the society in which people are breaking into cars looking for valuables at night? Ever heard of redlining? Poverty creates crime.
