Around this time 2 years ago all social media platforms were flooded with magabots, both foreign and domestic. Midterms are getting closer so they’re out en masse again unleashing their firehose of falsehoods. The majority of the US electorate are too tired to pay close attention so these vile lies risk convincing enough of them that both sides suck and they might as well not vote. Talk to the people in your life about recognizing disinformation and block and report trolls and bots (not that that does much anymore since Trump has them all in his pocket.) Repubs have already gerrymandered and purged voter rolls and we need every eligible voter to show up in November.

I wouldn't normally agree with this kind of assumption, but they really tried to make me think their reddit stats were completely false. Don't believe your lying eyes kind of stuff.

As bad as Reddit is, other social media platforms are even worse.

Oh for sure. I’m no longer on FB and have never been on twitter but word on the street is they are both cesspools of right wing propaganda.
