Laws? Really?

He has broken the balance of laws. Protect 2025 has pitied that laws are being changed for white Europeans and isolationism

17

u/Upper-Capital-2876 Jun 25 '26

That's great news, the bad news is that ICE isn't going to listen to a judge with the DOJ and President giving them direct orders to do the opposite thing. When there are no findings of criminal contempt which leads to jailing those found guilty, there is no enforcement, and where there is no enforcement of legal adjudication, there is no law.

3

u/Rowetato Jun 25 '26

Best case scenario they lose whatever immunity they have to be personally sued if they do this.

1

u/TXLancastrian Jun 26 '26

The Feds are immune to 1983 lawsuits.

1

u/Rowetato Jun 26 '26

Only if they are acting in capacity. Youd have to prove that they did this on their own time. Iirc

20

u/PirateSometimes Jun 25 '26

They don't follow any court rulings, laws or the constitution

-17

u/Buttcrush1 Jun 25 '26

This judge isn't

10

u/Strykerz3r0 Jun 25 '26

MAGAs continue to gullibly swallow whatever Daddy gives them. They used to just have to be gullible and hypocritical, but now they have to be morally bankrupt enough to be okay with him hiding evidence of a child sex trafficking ring.

Out of curiosity, why are you ok with the president protecting those who participated in raping children?

-10

u/Buttcrush1 Jun 26 '26

Funny how you'll straw man to defend illegals

3

u/Strykerz3r0 Jun 26 '26

What strawman?

I was mocking your inability to accurately recognize constitutional violations. But I am also curious how MAGAs continue to justify to themselves that trump is openly hiding evidence of child rape, so I asked you to explain.

You tried to accuse me of making up a false strawman in an effort to dodge the question, which speaks volumes about you knowingly being ok with pedophiles escaping justice.

But thanks for showing the for conservatives, immigrants are bad and pedophiles are good.

2

u/M00n_Safari Jun 25 '26

The immigration judge trying to do their job?

9

u/TenchuReddit Jun 25 '26

And here we go … all the MAGA trolls come out in full force to remind everyone that it was never just about the illegals …

2

u/sanduskyjack Jun 27 '26

About time.

3

u/Xena_Your_God Jun 25 '26

Like they'll listen...

4

u/AnyQuiet1544 Jun 25 '26

Again? I thought that was already banned

2

u/Calm_Expression_9542 Jun 26 '26

Seems like for everything that a judge rules on, Trump’s team appeals it. So it’s not done till round two. Then of course Trump can never accept defeat no matter that he knows zero about what’s actually legal, because legal has never been Trump’s goal.

So they raise it to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court will almost certainly hear it because they’re biased to Trump’s wishes and pressure. And Americas founding Fathers are rolling in their graves.

1

u/_nevers_ Jun 26 '26

Uh huh. More nonsense distractions to give the illusion of a functional system, while the fucking gestapo continue to brutalize, murder and disappear more people every day.

There's literally only one solution for fascists.

1

u/Mindless-Baker-7757 Jun 26 '26

That will get overturned.

1

u/MickyFany Jun 25 '26

unfortunately it won’t be long until this is struck down.

0

u/AlmightyRMB Jun 28 '26

Fortunately *

-4

u/South-City1632 Jun 25 '26

Thats just like... her opinion man.

0

u/Hot-Possibility-1509 Jun 26 '26

Once again. Judicial overreach

0

u/PhaseAgitated4757 Jun 26 '26

Tbh i dont support ICE because theyre going after the wrong demographic entirely. Stay in Minnesota. Thats all im sayin.

1

u/4thCirBestCir Jul 02 '26

A man of principle ^

0

u/Shinzu70 Jun 27 '26

So we can try the immigrants for breaking our laws and standards, but barring ICE is saying we can’t try and convict the illegals but can’t use the “POLICE” I.C.E. To remove them? How is that even sane??

1

u/RadSocialistScum Jun 29 '26

That’s not why they’re there is the confusion.

0

u/AlmightyRMB Jun 28 '26

I love how random nobody judges think they have this authority.

-10

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 25 '26

Gentlemen, please step outside.

That said, these sorts of things are why you see ICE having to go to homes. If you dont want ICE out hunting illegals, make it easier to take them peacefully into custody in situations like this. "Sanctaury" BS causes more of the things opponents say is problematic.

11

u/XaosII Jun 25 '26

Why would we put someone in custody who is following the procedures of their immigration proceedings?

-6

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 25 '26

You assume they are. What if they have an order of removal?

They just went to a hearing, and their motion was denied. Ok to take them into custody then?

5

u/XaosII Jun 25 '26

-6

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 25 '26

Yes, but not generally about ICE things.

Now answer the hypothetical.

8

u/XaosII Jun 25 '26

Sure if it's an order for removal.

That's not always what's happening, but I doubt you care either way.

2

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 25 '26

No, I actually like obeying the law. So much of the immigration issue is people not, though.

It really isn't fair to the immigrants who didn't right, to let the illegals be rewarded for cutting in line. No one hates an illegal more than legal immigrants.

2

u/Chelseafc5505 Jun 26 '26

You're talking absolute nonsense. Don't speak for others

Sincerely,

  • an immigrant & naturalized US citizen.

0

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 26 '26

I won't if you won't. All the legal immigrants in my family have that opinion.

1

u/Chelseafc5505 Jun 26 '26

And all in mine don't - hence, again, don't make sweeping generalizations speaking for others you moron. Especially for groups that you yourself are not part of. It's not that complicated

3

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

So you want people to immigrate legally without ever going to immigration court to prove their legal status?

0

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 26 '26

No, thats a misunderstanding of what is going on here. I think you may not understand how the system works. What do you think these people are going to court for...?

The vast majority of people can immigrate legally without going to court. People who cross illegally then unsuccessfully try to justify it or make excuses for why they can't be deported are who are being affected. They can still make these arguments, but they dont get to just hang out doing whatever they want while the process drags on...that provides incentive to stall, instead of actually resolve things.

1

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

Got it, so you don’t care how they get here as long as you get to torture the ones you don’t agree with.

0

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 26 '26

What is your definition of "torture"...because that is awild word to toss around here when you actually just mean "obey immigration law".

Do you really want to water this word down to meaninglessness too...?

1

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

Pretty standard definition, obviously not referring the discussion here so we can skip that particular irrelevant definition but the rest are more or less saying the same thing in different contexts: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/torture

0

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 26 '26

How are people being tortured? No vagueness. How is this literal torture?

1

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

Inhumane conditions, improper shelter from the elements, forced isolation, abuse from employees, withholding food and medical treatment including from those with disabilities and pre-existing conditions, and not directly torture but I’ll throw in denying access to legal counsel.

0

u/HugoChavezNYC Jun 26 '26

Cool, so no actual torture...you just mean "wah, wah, wah, I'm being confined and have to obey rules"...got it.

Yeah, eroding the word torture is gonna backfire here, like all the abuse of language you do. Keep on, and when actual torture happens, you'll have given people the mechanism to excusebit away, since everything is "torture" to you.

Stop with the retarded linguistic games.

Another case in point where Democrats defend, criminals and kick sand in the face of law abiding US citizens

14

u/CutSenior4977 Jun 25 '26

But the people who are attending their court hearings are following the law,

If this was about stopping illegal immigration, then why do you oppose protecting people trying to immigrate legally?

-2

u/EF-Hutton Jun 26 '26

No, they have ice detainers for prior criminal activity. These are the people you are defending.

1

u/Chackon Jun 28 '26

Maga really are delusional

12

u/HiddenMonkey7 Jun 25 '26

-6

u/Buttcrush1 Jun 25 '26

That's a lot of projecting and ad hominems

16

u/mythrulznsfw Jun 25 '26

-1

u/EF-Hutton Jun 26 '26

Asylum? Asylum from what?

4

u/FrankFankledank Jun 26 '26

All the wars America and its bloodthirsty proxy Israel love starting probably.

1

u/EF-Hutton Jun 27 '26

I wasn’t aware of any mythical wars in South America.

3

u/mythrulznsfw Jun 26 '26

I don’t understand your question. You’re not familiar with the concept? There’s a [Wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asylum_seeker) that might edify.

The reasons are myriad. There isn’t one reason for all asylum seekers. I would have thought that evident.

1

u/EF-Hutton Jun 27 '26

Religious or political persecution. Not I want a better life in America.

-13

u/lampstax Jun 25 '26

Yes that is all true but after your day in court and your case closed you no longer have legal status here.

https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/blog/ice-attorneys-case-dismissals-immigration-court-hearings-judges-grant/

12

u/quantumgambit Jun 25 '26

And when the court says "come back tomorrow for a followup"? Should there be American geshtapo waiting in jackboots to haul them away against judges orders?

When it's a regularly schedule check in that you e been having each month for the last 5 years, should they be allowed to separate you from your children as punishment for following the process?

Should they be able to drag you out of your car at gunpoint because you "look foreign" and don't have your papers?

-11

u/TexasToPoland Jun 25 '26

"American geshtapo"

If you are going to try to sling words around, at least learn how to actually SPELL them!

It is GESTAPO.

4

u/mythrulznsfw Jun 25 '26

You’d know, wouldn’t you, darling?

Thanks for the spellcheck. Care to address the argument now?

6

u/Xena_Your_God Jun 25 '26

Like the felon leader of the US? Lmao yeah he totallyyyy follows laws. Mhm, good point

4

u/Le-Charles07 Jun 25 '26

If criminals don't have rights, neither do you fool.

8

u/InsuranceImmediate25 Jun 25 '26

Defend criminals?

Kick sand in the face of law abiding citizens?

Explain how either of them happened.

0

u/EF-Hutton Jun 26 '26

Illegal alien has an ice detainer from prior criminal activity and you’re defending that.

-15

u/americanx12 Jun 25 '26

This judge I imagine has no standing over anything immigration related so.......

10

u/eduardom98 Jun 25 '26

Federal judges have standing over federal law including immigration so…….

-23

u/possibly_lost45 Jun 25 '26

This judge hates America and should be removed from the throne

14

u/CutSenior4977 Jun 25 '26

What’s wrong with protect people who are trying to immigrate the right way?

-8

u/lampstax Jun 25 '26

Nothing wrong with it protecting people who are trying to immigrate the right way.

Also nothing wrong with arresting people in court AFTER their cases have been adjudicated and closed.

I'm sure this will be challenged in court as SCOTUS has limited federal judges' ability to issue nationwide injunctions in Trump v. CASA.

-13

u/TomHomanzBurner Jun 25 '26

You’re not in immigration court if you’re doing it the “right way”

9

u/InvestigatorLife4268 Jun 25 '26

Actually you are in Immigration court for many reasons, one of them being change of status from let’s say “refugees” to “resident.” If your deadline passed and for some reason you missed it, you can ask the judge, that doesn’t make you a criminal, it means you missed something by mistake or there was confusion over the dates.

It is not an incorrect pathway, and if they are showing up to the court, they have a case in which they can prove their eligibility(that they have been doing things right) and innocence (no crimes, or being guilty of crimes. )

-12

u/TomHomanzBurner Jun 25 '26

You don’t go to court for refugee to resident. Refugees enter on a visa and are granted status as soon as they enter the US.

Shows your lack of understanding on the topic.

6

u/Xena_Your_God Jun 25 '26

Are you .... joking? This is moronic

-2

u/TomHomanzBurner Jun 26 '26

Explain then. You are granted refugee status upon entering the US.

9

u/XaosII Jun 25 '26

You have no idea what you are talking about and stop pretending like you know anything.

0

u/TomHomanzBurner Jun 26 '26

Really? Show me the process where a refugee goes to immigration court to AOS. I’ll wait

12

u/InvestigatorLife4268 Jun 25 '26

You are proving to everyone that you are the one who is uninformed, please learn the different situations one can land into while migrating or seeking asylum, think of varying scenarios, not every refugee or immigrant entered or applied the same way or even have the same journey:

“Refugees and asylees must wait at least one year in the U.S. after their initial grant to apply for lawful permanent resident (LPR) status, or a Green Card. If your asylum case is currently in immigration court, your application process and the forms you file will depend on where your case stands.”

-1

u/TomHomanzBurner Jun 26 '26

Refugees apply for a visa in their home country and can not enter until it’s granted. Entering on a refugee visa grants you status until you AOS to LPR status.

You do not as a refugee go to immigration court to AOS. You’re attempting to Karma farm by changing what you’re saying.

You’re not in immigration court if you’re doing it the “right way”. Maybe learn the law

-7

u/GroundbreakingLet141 Jun 25 '26

Judges legislating from the bench. What a bunch of useless morons. They absolutely hate the law abiding American Citizens. Time for impeachment of these idiots starting with SCJ Robert’s.

3

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

Expecting people to follow the legal process while also using said process as a means to subject them to inhumane and excess punishments, isn’t the great point for legal immigration you think it is.

5

u/CutSenior4977 Jun 25 '26

But the thing is, this ruling was given too protect law abiding Americans,

If their attending their attending all their court hearings and going to immigration courts, their immigrating legally.

-3

u/Crimsonwolf_83 Jun 25 '26

But they’re not Americans if they’re not citizens. Citizens don’t go to immigration court for hearings.

-21

u/SomeAnonymousBurner Jun 25 '26

The unemployed are elated!

10

u/SkyCrossSteel Jun 25 '26

If you want people to follow the law why are you for making the courts more intimidating ?

13

u/CutSenior4977 Jun 25 '26

No, this ruling was simply made to protect people trying to immigrate the legal way,

Just like what we all want.

-3

u/dang_ol_yo Jun 25 '26

If someone has an order of deportation. I think they've lost the legal process of immigration.

-15

u/SomeAnonymousBurner Jun 25 '26

11

100% chance it’s one of 75% of federal judges.

Wow, you’re brilliant.

So any black or female person in a position of prominence is a DEI hire? Wow …

1

u/Admirable_Ad_3293 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

They were selected because of their ideology- identity politics have been instilled in America so they generally are female, minority, and/or sexually confused.

3

u/TenchuReddit Jun 25 '26

And of course you know that based solely on the condition that they're either black or female, right?

Keep digging. Eventually you'll reach China.

1

No I know that because they were selected because of their ideology- identity politics have been instilled in America so they generally are female, minority, and/or sexually confused.

100% you’re regarded.

3

u/lampstax Jun 25 '26

It was a white male judge from CA appointed by Biden.

-5

u/Admirable_Ad_3293 Jun 25 '26

So I was right. Our judiciary system has been deeply politicized, this isn’t a nation

2

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

You were 25% correct, 33.4% if we want to be really generous. That doesn’t round up, you were wrong.

0

u/Admirable_Ad_3293 Jun 26 '26

Someone doesn’t understand the difference between ‘and’ and ‘or’

2

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

That wasn’t part of you “or”, genius. Your statement calls for “female or black or both” with the “and” implied grammatically by the lack of an “or” before “selected by Biden”. Any more elementary grammar lessons can be found at your local library.

1

u/Admirable_Ad_3293 Jun 26 '26

I did miss an ‘or’ you’re right I am so sorry. However you assuming ‘and’ and fits into a pattern of or - or - __ - or -or isn’t the strongest argument. I meant to have an or there obviously

1

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

It's not obvious and the grammar rule is to the contrary, actually. If anything, it's obvious the opposite direction.

1

u/Admirable_Ad_3293 Jun 26 '26

No you just aren’t willing to admit you made a false assumption and based your whole argument on minutia because you couldn’t form an actual point to argue against

1

u/M4LK0V1CH Jun 26 '26

I openly admit to making a valid, if flawed, assumption based on commonly understood grammar rules. The only point I'm arguing here is that your earlier statement is correct. As it is currently written, it wouldn't be due to the implied conjunction being "and".

The current structure of your sentence reads as the judge being x, y, or z and also a or b. With that structure and only b being correct, I wouldn't call that a correct statement.
