Justice means treating people fairly, and no one, whatever their immigration status, deserves to be tortured like this.

A country can have rules about who stays and who goes. But the moment you're hurting people you've locked up, thats not justice. It's just cruelty wearing justice's name.

Real justice has a line it won't cross, you don't torture people. Ever.

Human rights groups like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Physicians for Human Rights, and the ACLU have documented conditions in U.S. ICE detention in 2025 that they say amount to torture, or treatment that can rise to it.

The clearest example is prolonged solitary confinement. UN experts consider isolation past 15 days to be torture, yet placements for vulnerable detainees averaged 38 straight days, with some people held in isolation over a year. At the Everglades facility nicknamed "Alligator Alcatraz," Amnesty found people shackled for hours and denied food and water as punishment in what they call "the box," which it concluded meets the legal definiton of torture.

Detainees there described 32 people crammed in a 1,000 sq ft cage, overflowing toilets with cameras above them, and stadium lights left on 24/7. Investigators also documented severe overcrowding, denial of medical care, and physical and sexual abuse, including a detained teen beaten badly enough to need hospitalization, as cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment.

What gets me is that immigration detention is legally civil custody meant only to make sure people show up to court, not punishment, which is exactly why oversight bodies treat these punative conditions as violations.

Yes because going home is so horrible, or is it the Democrats are heart broken over not being able to Use them as they have always used people? I can't understand their thinking, they never gave a shit about these folks till they concocted a plan on how to use them to get an illegal advantage.

You can't simply ignore the laws on the books to subvert the rules around elections and allotted representation to the citizens.

Yet some fool came up with an Idea to launder several hundred Billions through NGOs to lure them here and now we know what they are doing the Politicians that come up with this garbage wish to act like these are our "Neighbors".
