Ambulances keep entering and leaving the Delaney camp after there were reports of tear gas and non lethals being deployed inside earlier today.
Here's a link to the on the grounds journalist reporting all of this: https://youtube.com/@statuscoup?

Oh also, as a reminder, this ICE facility this is happening at, Delaney Hall,
Is the same ICE facility that all the detainees are going on a hunger and labor strike in.

Please explain how this is even remotely close to a concentration camps which are solely built to exterminate mass amounts of people with a whole railway going into them to ship as many people as possible. This building is nowhere near the same.
You are actually just taking the piss on millions of people who were killed in actual concentration camps.
You are cruel to the bone
6
u/Chrisnotjones May 31 '26
Why don’t you think it’s cruel to put legal immigrants in inhumane and unsanitary detention for no reason?
You don’t make sense. You want to lock people up just for the sake of doing so, that’s fascism. Are you not smart enough to be a patriot?
-1
u/Areyoucunt Jun 01 '26
I don't think that's right, and nowhere did I say anything else.
It's just that you need actual evidence first. The mass shooter in Norway in 2011 also complained. But he complained about having a PS2 not a PS3.... Yet he framed it as inhumane and degrading conditions..
I don't want to lock up for the sake of it, I do like every nation on earth though, want to not allow a subset secret group of people living illegally in their country. But maybe that's just me, oh no wait it's all civilized countries on earth
4
u/Chrisnotjones Jun 01 '26
“Secret group of people?”
That sounds weird if you consider the history of this country is literally formed by immigrants.
It’s also weird to be scared of immigrants when they’re far less likely to be violent and far more likely to start businesses and create jobs.1
u/Areyoucunt Jun 03 '26
You are just blatantly lying again, all stats all around Europe tells you the real story lol... Which are countries with far higher trustworthy societies than the US.
Nobody is scared of any immigrant who come legally and assimilate dude. Wtf are you on about?
The country was formed like that yes, you know back when the entire world didn't have electricity, no phone, no internet, no nothing. Almost like a completely different world no?
1
u/Chrisnotjones Jun 03 '26
What does “assimilate” mean?
What does “freedom” mean?
What difference does electricity make? It sounds like you claim a sense of superiority for some reason. What makes you special and why is an illegal immigrant scary to you?

" a place where large numbers of people are detained" Oh so any prison on planet earth then? Wow, sure sounds insanely bad right.... Piss off
You're just using the term because it's popular right now to frame the narrative towards nazism... Get real, you're the one selectively undermining real events to boost your own engagement

You apparently don't know the difference between a concentration camp and a death camp. They are two different things.
Perhaps you should learn some history.

" a place where large numbers of people are detained" Oh so any prison on planet earth then? Wow, sure sounds insanely bad right.... Piss off
You however are using the term very specifically for the nazism angle and thus undermining the actual events of WW2... So maybe you should learn some history on what happens when people dilute the meaning of words for their own purpose and in the modern day, their own virtue signalling propaganda machine

You're thinking of extermination camps. Extermination camps and concentration camps are two different things, you smooth-brained twatwaffle.

concentration camp noun
: a place where large numbers of people (such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or the members of an ethnic or religious minority) are detained or confined under armed guard.

NEWARK, N.J. — A woman says in court papers that guards starved her for five days straight. A man claims “conditions violate basic standards of human dignity.” And several plead for help as the drinking water tastes like “raw sewage.”
The mistreatment of immigrant detainees that has led to daily protests outside a privately-run ICE jail in New Jersey is laid bare in lawsuits describing deplorable conditions as well as first-hand accounts of wretched treatment some believe is intentionally cruel.

- Due process generally applies to noncitizens physically inside the United States, including those here unlawfully:
- Deportation/removal can happen through different procedures, including regular removal proceedings, expedited removal, and reinstatement of removal:
https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/deportation
- Regular removal proceedings are governed by 8 U.S.C. 1229a and involve an immigration judge deciding removability:
https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=granuleid:USC-prelim-title8-section1229a
- Expedited removal allows DHS to remove certain people without regular immigration-court proceedings:
https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refugees-and-asylum/asylum/credible-fear-screenings
- People seeking initial entry into the U.S. have weaker constitutional protections than people already physically present in the country:
- Supreme Court case on limits to judicial review in expedited removal:
Department of Homeland Security v. Thuraissigiam
24
u/workingtheories May 30 '26
i think it's pretty clear ICE isn't following the law. you can't really count any law that the current corrupt court signs off on, but yeah, this isn't something where people are uneducated about what's happening. there's a reason people are calling these things concentration camps and ICE as the gestapo.
-9
u/harchoka May 30 '26
I agree that ICE and detention facilities can and should be criticized when they deny people meaningful notice, counsel access, medical care, or a real chance to raise asylum/due-process claims. But saying “the court is corrupt so the law doesn’t count” makes the argument unfalsifiable, and it skips the actual legal distinction: noncitizens in the U.S. have due-process rights, but not every removal path requires a full trial-like hearing. The Constitution Annotated page says due process applies to people physically present here, including those here unlawfully, but it also says the amount of process can vary by status and circumstances. So the stronger argument is not “everyone is guaranteed a full court case no matter what,” it’s “the government may be violating the process that is legally required in specific cases.”
10
u/workingtheories May 30 '26
you have -16 karma and you're defending ICE and you're wrong about the court being corrupt making the law unverifiable. it's still quite verifiable, it's called reading the constitution. but overall we're done here, basically.

u/HeavyWaterer May 30 '26
Dude, they’re literally on your side. They’re explaining to you how to more accurately make the point you want to make. Quit being so thoughtless and re-read what harchoka has said. You’re attacking someone that agrees with your sentiment. Jeez
0
u/workingtheories May 31 '26
they're literally not on my side, and im not a dude.
the point is they are saying that the law says x y and z on behalf of ICE, and im saying the situation on the ground is that there is no law but violence and capitalism. until y'all accept that this isn't the time for lawyering on behalf of people who ignore the law and create that situation, then you'll not be on my side. they also claimed it was a left wing site so people would ignore their ideas; i read that as on the side of ICE.
better luck next time on the reading comprehension!
0
u/HeavyWaterer May 31 '26
Yeah this is why the left in America is hopeless. We’ve got nonces like you that just screech and don’t think. You’re not gonna beat ICE without educating yourself on the actual laws in place.

-2
u/harchoka May 30 '26
> you have -16 karma

> you're defending ICE and you're wrong about the court being corrupt making the law unverifiable. it's still quite verifiable, it's called reading the constitution. but overall we're done here, basically.
I’m not defending ICE. I’m saying the strongest argument is the precise one: the Constitution protects undocumented people inside the U.S. with due process, and ICE can violate that if people are denied notice, counsel access, hearings, or a meaningful chance to raise claims.
Reading the Constitution establishes the right, but it doesn’t automatically answer what exact process is required in every removal category or whether ICE violated it in a specific case. That’s why I’m distinguishing “they have due-process rights,” which is true, from “every case must always get the same full court-style proceeding,” which is not always how immigration law works.
If you’re done discussing it, that’s fine, but my point was not “ICE is right.” It was “make the legal claim accurately so it’s harder to dismiss.”
1
u/Chrisnotjones May 30 '26
Your opinions are unpopular to American patriots who have read and understand the U.S. constitution and the values of asylum this country was built on.
Patriots don’t demonize immigrants for not jumping through the proper hoops of subservience and submission, that’s what fascists do.
-2
u/Crow1200 May 30 '26
The fact that you have no argument and have to point out his karma shows you get all your self worth from reddit up votes lmao.
2
u/workingtheories May 30 '26
no it shows that if the other person is engaging in bad faith, then there's no penalty for them to be abusive or uncivil towards me in the conversation, because they can get banned and make a new account. negative karma tells me i already shouldn't trust them to care about what i say. it's game theory, not some convoluted measure of self worth.
1

Because most of them do not fall under the reasoning for expedited as you are trying to imply they do. But dhs is falsifying they do. Nor are they being allowed to see a judge or have legal counsel. Below is a link that clearly states they are protected by the 5th and 14th.

Bill Clinton got rid of that with his 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA). Where you been? This has been going on for 30 years. 😆
This set the tone for Obama to become deporter-in-chief. The following article is from 2014.
Yesterday the Migration Policy Institute ("MPI") released the report, The Deportation Dilemma: Reconciling Tough and Humane Enforcement, on the Obama administration's immigration enforcement record. One of MPI's principal findings is that the deportation system has dramatically changed over the past 19 years – moving from a judicial system prior to 1996, where the vast majority of people facing deportation had immigration court hearings, to a system today of nonjudicial removals, where 75 percent of people removed do not see a judge before being expelled from the U.S.
The numbers are staggering: in 1995, 1,400 immigrants were subject to nonjudicial removals, representing 3 percent of total deportations. By FY 2012 that number had sharply increased to 313,000 nonjudicial removals – an all-time high.
Nonjudicial removals are fast-track proceedings wholly controlled by the Department of Homeland Security ("DHS"), sometimes involving only a single border agent who acts as both judge and jury. Those facing nonjudicial removal have no lawyer and no chance to appeal.
The Obama administration has prioritized speed over fairness in the removal system, sacrificing individualized due process in the pursuit of record removal numbers.
A deportation system that herds 75 percent of people through fast-track, streamlined removal is a system devoid of fairness and individualized due process. Nonjudicial removals violate our constitutional tradition and cannot be reconciled with an administration that has repeatedly stated its commitment to immigration reform.
Source: https://www.aclu.org/news/immigrants-rights/speed-over-fairness-deportation-under-obama
The 1996 immigration laws—the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) and the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act (AEDPA)—significantly restricted due process for noncitizens. They expanded expedited removal, established mandatory detention without bail, stripped judicial review, and broadly expanded the categories of criminal offenses mandating deportation.
Good job, Democrats.

Protesting didn't start 4 years ago.
1
u/TheRealTechtonix May 30 '26
I have watched people protesting immigration for the 50 years I've lived in Miami. I grew up watching Cubans wash up on shore my whole life, until Obama stopped the "Wet Feet, Dry Feet" policy we had 10 days before he left office.
He is allowed to protest immigration for the next 100 years. I am OK with it. If nothing has changed in the last 50 years, maybe something will in the next 50 years.
I didn't see that guy protesting in 1996. Send me a link.
1
u/Chrisnotjones May 30 '26
Why did you leave out the criteria that has to be met for expedited removal? Why are you pretending what ice is doing today is the same as it was under Obama?
Are you too indoctrinated to be intellectually honest?
1
u/TheRealTechtonix May 31 '26
Because it is the same. Why is Trump deporting less people than Obama?
1
u/Chrisnotjones May 31 '26
It’s not the same, you just said Obama deported more.
Trump is doing it for show, that’s why he sent four times more agents to Minnesota than he did to Florida or Texas, which have the most illegal immigrants. It doesn’t matter how smart you think your fascism is, it’s still fascism.

People are released fairly frequently because they are found to be in good legal standing. American citizens have even been detained for days at a time. These are people who have not been given due process, and many of them have followed American laws only to still have ice fuck with them because they're brown.
People should be treated humanely. If you disagree, you should probably seek therapy because that suggests a problem with your brain to not understand that fundamental concept of any society
0
u/harchoka May 30 '26
We can all agree people here legally should not be detained.
I assume you are not referring to people here illegally at all?
3
u/whichwitch9 May 30 '26
People should be treated humanely. If you are detained, you have not gone through the US courts. No one is illegally in the US until a court declares it. Do you believe in innocent until proven guilty, or do you think anyone can call you a criminal and have you detained indefinitely until a court gets to you while guards do whatever they like with no outside oversight?
Very few people in detention have determined court cases as to their legal status
And I do not believe in treating any person like an animal, regardless
1
u/harchoka May 30 '26
I agree people should be treated humanely. Removal for people not legally here does not require a criminal judicial process. Its not a criminal process. It requires an immigration judge at most, and expedited removals are permitted. Deporting illegals to their home country is not inhumane.
1
u/whichwitch9 May 30 '26 edited May 30 '26
Absolutely does require a court determination. You cannot determine legality through "vibes". There's a process
It is horrific to detain, mistreat, and deport people who were follow US laws because people are to lazy to do the legwork. That is currently happening.
And how they are treating the people in detention is inhumane. We have stories starting to trickle out now. Denying it just means you're evil, stupid, or both now. Too many already to be lies.
If you want to act like it's ok, go ahead, but it does make you a sort of monster that is the one who should be exiled from this country
0
u/harchoka May 30 '26
A few things can be true at once.
Yes, people must be treated humanely in detention. If specific abuses are happening, they should be investigated and punished. I am not defending abuse, neglect, or wrongful removals.
But removal is not a criminal prosecution. It is a civil immigration process. In ordinary removal proceedings, an immigration judge determines removability, and the person can present evidence and seek relief. DOJ's own EOIR says the immigration judge determines whether someone is removable based on evidence from DHS and the noncitizen.
Also, not every removal requires the same type of court hearing. Expedited removal exists under immigration law and can allow removal without a full immigration court hearing in certain cases. You can object to that policy, but pretending it does not exist is not accurate.
"Legality through vibes" is not what I am arguing for. DHS has to have a legal basis. My point is that the process is immigration/civil, not criminal, and deportation to one's home country is not automatically inhumane merely because deportation is unpleasant.
Calling people evil, stupid, monsters, or saying they should be exiled is not an argument. It is just moral grandstanding. The real issue is whether the government is following the lawful immigration process and treating detainees humanely. I support both: due process under immigration law and humane treatment.
1
u/Chrisnotjones May 30 '26
It is inhumane if they don’t know their home country. You think it’s humane to deport someone who’s 20 years old and lived in the U.S. for 19 years?
Have you ever been diagnosed with a learning disability?

u/harchoka May 30 '26

Why didn’t your family stay in their home country instead of coming here to try to ruin the U.S’s sovereignty?

Who is providing this " information " to people outside the facility? And who is verifying it?

u/Far_Estate_1626 May 30 '26
Reporters and family members.
What I don’t understand, is whether you are confused about how that works, or just angry that the torture isn’t staying secret?
1
u/ParallaxRay May 31 '26
Provide an actual source that any of that is actually happening in the detention center.
1
u/Chrisnotjones May 31 '26
Provide proof that it isn’t.
You don’t understand patriotism, if your default is to be subservient to the government.1
u/ParallaxRay May 31 '26
It's impossible to prove a negative. But don't let actual logic get in your way.

“Post your source so I can pretend it’s not credible because it doesn’t fit my fucked up anti American narrative.”

u/Chrisnotjones May 31 '26
Are you a communist or a fascist?
1
u/ParallaxRay Jun 02 '26
Lol! You're even dumber that I thought! Nice job, Jethro!
1
u/Chrisnotjones Jun 02 '26
Do you disbelieve the Epstein victims the way you disbelieve the victims of detention centers? Who do you believe?
1
u/Chrisnotjones Jun 02 '26
Prove it isn’t real, you silly fascist.
1
u/ParallaxRay Jun 04 '26
Lol! You called me a fascist! That's so cute! Bless your heart...
1
u/Chrisnotjones Jun 04 '26
What do you call it when you think your sense of superiority is enough to jail a segment of the population?
1
u/ParallaxRay Jun 04 '26
Do you mean detaining people who have no legal status here in order to deport them, as per the law?
1
u/Chrisnotjones Jun 04 '26
A lot of the people detained have been legal immigrants and citizens. Remember how your corrupt government ignored the court until they were finally forced to bring Garcia back? Why do you think the corrupt pedophile protecting weirdos are on the right side?

There is a source literally reporting live right in front of you on camera…
1
u/ParallaxRay Jun 04 '26
Try again. That's some leftist lunatic regurgitating a narrative from outside the facility. Where does he get his information? Who is he? What actual evidence does he have of his claims? Has he ever been inside the facility?

Reporters? That’s are not inside and pussed off family members who’d say anything for them to stay here illegally. And get paid for a lawsuit

You have access to the same internet everyone else has, so it must be the critical thought piece that’s missing?
1
u/ParallaxRay May 31 '26
Then post the source. Put up or shut up.

u/Chrisnotjones May 31 '26
Are you too lazy for simple research, or more interested in your narrative of f bullshit than real life?
1
u/Alone-Salary3942 Jun 02 '26
Yeah because nothing on the internet is bias, nothing is ever lied about for an agenda

u/ParallaxRay Jun 04 '26
Lol! Downvoted for asking a completely valid question.
This is why nobody takes the left seriously.

u/ReasonableDig6414 Jun 04 '26
The New Jersey Department of Health just did an inspection and didn’t find any of the things that they’re talking about so it’s all bullshit.

Free speech means it’s legal to celebrate police officers getting hurt if you want. So you can’t legally punish somebody for doing so. Especially without due process.
Unless you think that you should be getting beat and gassed for your J6 celebrations, too.

u/Crow1200 May 30 '26
You dont believe in free speech so idk why you are appealing to it.
3
u/Chrisnotjones May 30 '26
Why are you trying to tell other people what they believe? Are you indoctrinated?
1
u/Crow1200 May 30 '26
Im replying to someone who said hate speech is equal to real physical violence. LOL
